Ezra Pound would be a petulant neonazi blogger who thinks he’s brilliant but is usually borderline incomprehensible, Marinetti would be one of the “WELCOME TO MY TWISTED MIND” dudes who refers to people as “tumblrinas” but still blogs on this site anyway, and TS Eliot would be a superwholock and write text posts about how “I don’t want french fries I want chips

Le Corbusier is the techno-utopian science blogger who writes long text posts about how great everything’s going to be when the singularity comes.

Most of his friends on the site are neoreactionaries though.

Langston Hughes is big in the Black Lives Matter movement on the site but also is a pretty well respected music blogger who sometimes posts his own raps.

About once a month he blogs something about the failures of capitalism and like ten people freak out in his inbox because they haven’t been paying attention to the fact that everyone he follows is a communist. He’s getting real fuckin sick of it, frankly.

fucking James Joyce would have a porn blog where he reposts people’s nude selfies and adds semi-coherent captions that might be an attempt at roleplaying though. That I think we can say for certain.

yeah I picture Freud as more the kind of person who reblogs people’s posts and adds lengthy blathering textual commentary that no one actually really wants to read and treats the entire site as just fodder for his own intellectual process

I hadn't thought about it before, but most of the male characters I have made up for Centralia are subservient to women in a position of power...the royal guards who answer to the princess, Jimmy the library security guy who answers to Lindsay the librarian...

Wonder what that says about me. :P
the weed fairy is male, per a comment by Myr, assuming that whole fairy discussion was canon

    I forgot about that.

I do pretty much consider fairy discussions canon, since other people's ideas are so much more interesting than mine.

There's only two months left till Christmas and everyone's still talking about Halloween instead! What gives, Internet??

The Fairies-Don't-Exist Fairy is also male, but we don't talk about him.

i disagree about your ideas not being interesting.  Of all the fairies, the Safety Fairy and the Academic Integrity Fairy have the most defined personalities, after all.

    Thanks.

It's just that, beyond using them in comedic setpieces, I haven't really done much with the fairies yet, myself...

You could write a story about them and post it here.  i'd read it.

I haven't decided where there fairies live yet but I know that wherever it is, they try to hide it from mortals, and they employ some questionable "security measures" to keep random trespassers from stumbling across it.

I know where it is, naturally, since I'm the monarch...it's kinda important that I know my domain inside and out! But, of course, the fairies have me sworn to secrecy.

Heh. I suppose I should have been clearer.

I want to make myself a magic wand prop in real life but I don't know what materials I could use that would make it feel "real" instead of like a part of a cheap Halloween costume.
  • “I'm surprised. Those clothes… but, aren't you…?”
In that case, an actual branch tripped of bark and sanded, polished and varnished would look highly respectable.

    Yes.

Extremely rare metals tend to make good magical conductors. A wizard told me so.

Ah, you are forgiven, weed fairy.

Though we are still enemies because dandelions don't belong on this continent; we can put aside our differences in our mutual hatred of Marijuana.

You know what kinda weirds me out? Aside from myself, I don't know of any other age-based otherkin.

Like, I've been on Tumblr a long time. I've seen otherkin who identify as cats, dogs, wild animals, fictional characters, royalty, angels, fictional characters, people with disabilities, gods, demons, and combinations thereof.

But no otherkin who just identify as a different age.

    Curious.
