I think there's a "subjective" suspension of disbelief, one with regards to worldviews and possibly morality, in addition to the "objective" suspension of disbelief.  Breaching the limits of either makes the audience interpret what they're reading as lies.  Of the two, people seem to be more flexible with the "objective" than with the "subjective".

EDIT:  Oh, it turns out that I misunderstood the willing suspension of disbelief.  Ignore this.

  • I can even buy TRIPLEPOST TOAST!
  • You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022

  • A one-handed clock could have either the hand move around the clock's face, or it could have the face rotate and the hand stay still.
  • Forever couldn't wait
We decide there must be more
    Than just one way
After what we saw that day
    Summer was awake
    Twist over the highway lines
    To get across the lake
    You shake, I shake

    You carve into the bridge
It might not be so bad to die
Believing in a lie that we'll leave behind
  • Tre!  :D  *hi-five*

  • Been hangin' in there, pretending to be an adult (with mixed results) :)
