Completely legit reasons for disliking newer Legend of Zelda titles

Did I mention that he made Lackadaisey fanart? (Don't bother looking, it's such a testament to his blandness bland and not even hate-worthy.) It's funny to see him attempt to draw those characters because Lackadaisey's artist put all the investment, care, and finally style into the sum of her work that Dobson hasn't even gotten to square two on.

I'm really flabbergasted about this. There's a reason why artists get their accolades from newspapers and journals. The general public is more likely to believe a professional newspaper about the quality of an art-piece than the common laity. It's the same way that Roger Ebert's opinion of a movie generally carries more weight than that of the kid at school whom you've never talked to.

The only thing that seems to fit to me is the "C-Mouth", and it seemed to me that was aimed strait at the heart of one "Tim Buckley".

Buckley also having the dubious honor of being more infamous.

I just think the "C-Mouth" in this case is a direct attack on Ctr-Alt-Del, given Buckley's proclivity to use it and the art-style Butler decided to show-case it with.

When I get back from my trip today I'll try to dig up character work he did on Disney characters which is outstanding work. Really. He's entirely capable of excellent work. That's the tragedy here.

I thought that might be it, though I think what Dobson is doing is slightly different from what Butler is talking about.

Dobson seems to use eyebrows to express expressions so much he lifts them off the character's face, I think Butler is more attacking people overusing a specific expression with them. And while Dobson is no stranger to using the same expression over and over again, I don't think he uses this one so much.

But I've only seen the comics that have been poster here, I might start seeing it more if I had any inclination to read more of his work.

Also, I agree  that the picture of Samus is pretty swell, shame he doesn't take a few steps back and reevaluate his style.  

Though, that wouldn't fix his habit of making himself and his opinion the focus of the comic.

Normally I'm pretty tolerant of other people's opinions, but the Ctrl-Alt-Delete cartoon is like if a super-villain tried to invent cancer-aids and settled for something that was likely to give the viewer this horrible affliction.

Not really a fan of the comic, but even I'm surprised someone managed to take the strips and engineer that much suck into them.

The voice acting, or lack-there-of, certainly didn't help...

Plus, he manhandled Link in Wind Waker. And Manhandla is something quite suspicious...
