Well then, this is just about the pinnacle of webcomic suckage, except for that one that Naney likes.
I keep tellin' ya, it's an allegory for the creation of an atrocious, egotistical, pretentious webcomic in the form of an atrocious, egotistical, pretentious webcomic.
Yeah, his reason for it turned into a rant about those mean girls in high school. :P Back on fandom_wank, that was "Snacky's Law" and was treated the same way as Godwin's Law -- invoke it and you lose.
Also, the thing that set me off in the last post was this:
Couple that with the annoying popularity of many of the fans of Anime, the fact that many kids these days don’t know any good AMERICAN cartoons anymore, and you’ll begin to see why Anime has started to piss me off.
I've just seen too many people for whom "good AMERICAN cartoons" means "stuff made between 1983 and whenever Pinky and the Brain ended" to take that statement seriously anymore. :(
Doctor Who reference in Pokemon B2W2? Headcanon accepted.
I lived in an area of the United States where we lacked the typical sort of television station that carried the majority of those 80's cartoons (independent little stations that thrived on first/second/third run syndication) so I never saw any of those cartoons growing up that my generation pines over so.

I've always generally ignored Sarah Zero just because I thought the character artwork was so damned ugly. A few years later I noticed it got jumped onto by the SA goons and others with resulting drama, that's the most I know about it.
The first few panels aren't so bad, though they're trying really hard to be hip, I notice. Constant technology jokes grate on me; it makes me feel like I'm reading an ad.
To date, this is the only SYAC strip I have ever laughed at, and I have a feeling that's just because of my personal quirks.
I won't say he incapable of being funny, because a couple of strips maybe had potential if he presented them a little differently. This one was mildly amusing. If he just improved his style a bit and did less comics about "him" we might have something here.
I think comparing the older Zelda games to the newer ones is ridiculous. I separate them into 4 categories: The Pseudo-classics (ALttP, OoA/S, LA, MC), the 3D's (OoT, TP, SS, WW, and MM is a little iffy), the DS's (PH, ST) and the Oddballs ( The original, AoL, FS, FSA, and MM, sort of)
I've learned to tolerate drama...except on the boat
For some reason what I noticed about that Sarah Zero comic was beside the point of it: the abuse of that poor squarish sans serif. You're not supposed to track the thing so tightly, you're supposed to let the white space highlight the geometry! (Though maybe I'm used to seeing them that way and that's made me biased)
Tbh, I think Majora's Mask suffers from "its not Kenny Daligish syndrome". Ie, the game is fine but because it followed up OoT and was so radically different from OoT as well, the fans didn't like that at the time.
Yeah, this is just getting irritating at this point. I mean, even Bazompora was kind of fun to hate because he was just so over-the-top; this guy is just a run-of-the-mill whiny slacker, and you just end up running out of things to say about him.
I find it mildly amusing but I first went there for the comments sections because someone was talking about it on www.Ifuckinghateyou.com in a blog update

I started skimming the comic posts where it seems the topic of the comic will be his favorite subject.
His stock expressions are pretty irritating.
Also, his "things I like" are turning into "things everyone likes". Or at least things that are pretty normal for a nerdy guy, nothing worth writing home, or the inter-butts about.
I mean, even putting aside cat-loving-fanatics like Juan, it's not like there's many people who dislike cats.
So, back to Zelda.
Does anyone dislike an aspect of the newer titles? Or any the series in general?
Actually, come to think of it, Mario changed more with the addition of 3-D than Zelda did. The difference between Super Mario World and Super Mario 64 seem more profound than the differences between Link to the Past and Ocarina of Time.
For the 3D titles, I don't like how pure linear they are now.(not that they don't have sidequests, but there's no unique dungeon order like there used to be.)

And thank God for that.
I suppose that's intentional, but still...
Actually? Pachyderm is funnier than this guy too, by virtue of being an elephant.
Acronyms, my archnemesis! We meet again....
Funny thing about that, there is absolutely nothing stopping me from using my new account.
Though I pretty much just stick to the Toonami thread anymore.

Like, reading his comics is like reading Garfield, if Garfield was about Davis's opinions and not about an obese cat.

The original game has this sort of wide-open sandbox aspect that isn't there as much in later games. But that's a minor criticism.
Lesbian kick
oh wait we're talking about Zelda again
triforce kick
Well, the 2D ones are OK. They just don't feel as exciting, and I suck at them.
