"Is it just a Japanese thing where childhood friends of the opposite sex make pacts at an early age and the girl will remember and harp on it for a decade plus after the fact? I think I told a girl when I was like eight that I was going to become an astronaut and if I became an astronaut I'd take her into space. I don't think she ever guilt tripped me for not taking for on a trip in springtime to Jupiter or Mars. "
It's becoming more and more painfully obvious that, not only did no one on the Leave side have an exit plan, but that no one wants to be responsible for making an exit plan.

i was thinking about how to explain vector calculus easily and came up with a complex analogy based on the spin tiles in team rocket headquarters. i'm just going to go ahead and strangle it in the crib.

it's probably worth noting that Farage's party doesn't have much in the way of actual political power, they're just very vocal
he wasn't part of the official Leave campaign, he stood on the sidelines and waved racist posters around, he definitely influenced their arguments and strengthened their support, but they stopped short of actually endorsing him
UKIP is basically a single-issue party, and if the UK leaves the EU, UKIP doesn't really have any reason to exist, so there is that
