Making rice in my own place has been a simple dream of mine.
Simple. Stupidly simple, even. It's something I could have done easily at home. But there's something about being able to make your own food, even if it's something as banal as putting rice in a pot and watching it boil. If I can do that, I can move up to making something noteworthy.

Yeah, I'm about 95% sure that I'm remembering that wrong, or that I misheard something, or that that didn't happen the way that anecdote would suggest.
I mean, I know it is spelled, Corea, in some languages.
