You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
Jane you should watch STAR VS THE FORCES OF EVIL because I think you, like me, would identify with Star a lot
that is weird of me to say given that my number one anime crush is "leaps like a mile and takes a dude's arm off / impromptu brain surgery interrogation lady/ambiguously gendered feline entity"

I want to do something computery, but I don't know what

Jackie Brown is my favorite thing of his cuz the way it takes the shooty blaxploitation thing but then balances it out w/ a very strong and sweet and endearing romantic subplot is much more unique and intriguing and endearing than his usual fare.
i like it, it is good to have a nice semi-mindless and flavorful shooty show to watch that is executed with a good deal of panache and a sense of fun
+ the russian lady is hot
Revy is hot too but maybe a biiiiit too "legit terrifying psychological problems" for my tastes
Glad you're enjoying it. And yeah Balalaika is pretty attractive (and terrifying) and Revy is definitely a mess of pyschological issues. How far are you into it?

Okay, I think I know the first one and I know the third one, but who is the second?
i am on episode 6, which is actually about where i was when i stopped watching the last time i tried watching this, which was in maybe 2012?
Ah. I'll be interested in seeing what you think of the next episode and the last two arcs. Those were the most fun in the first season, at least in my opinion.
The RZA scored Ghost Dog: Way of the Samurai, which is the best "Black homeless man thinks he's a samurai and assassinates people for the Mafia" movie ever made.
Also, as far as adaptations of Le Samouraï go, I remember enjoying Ghost Dog more than I did John Woo's The Killer.
Balalaika being attractive as heck is one of the reasons I've considered watching Black Lagoon. Tarantino movies have always been something I really like, and Black Lagoon always seemed to have enough (ultra?)violence and gun-shooting fun, yet not being utterly meaningless and at least possibly passable far as stories go. I'll get to it one of these days.
it was just so mediocre but with just enough interesting stuff to make you think it was about to get good and then LITERALLY THE WORST FUCKING ENDING EVER
i think the greater problem is that t-rex doesn't climb stairs since he only does the actions depicted in those panels, repetitively, forever. in that restricted universe there is no possibility of death
T-Rex doesn't repeat the panel changes into perpetuity. It's just that he's bound to repeat those actions exactly at some point in the future. He does other stuff between comics, like moving to a new home and having dinosaur sex, and he has even fallen down the stairs before
Man, when I get immortality, it's going to be REAL can't-die-of-ANY-causes immortality, made by manipulating the universe to bend to my whims with my goddess abilities
Jane, Heart of Carbon Country is probably one of the best things I've heard from you in a while. And I might not just be saying that because of the post good-sleep euphoria

thank you, I appreciate that.
I put out a new album the other day but I think only one person has listened to it so far :/
Milkman is in the rare category of 'songs which made me dissolve into helpless laughter the first time i heard them' along with Venetian snares' welfare Wednesday and Kane West's cover of archangel

I watched the first season a couple years ago, but my tastes have rather changed since then.
Assassin poems, Poems that shoot
guns. Poems that wrestle cops into alleys
and take their weapons leaving them dead
