In this one game, our heroine is given a mission to disarm a nuclear missile base. She notes that "Careful measures will have to be taken." She then proceeds to fly straight to the base guns blazing the whole time.

The fact that it's already August is depressing.
I feel like I wasted my summer, even though this summer was the first time ever I had a job and I spent some of my earnings on the tablet I'm posting from right now.
Thinking back, I'm really glad I deleted a lot of my old LJ ramblings. Some of the more involved ones, from what I recall about them, were really, really CWC-ish. :P (At least one was a treatise about how this girl in high school who didn't even like me that much CHANGED MY LIFE OMFG. If that's not retarded, I don't know what is.)

Also, because I'm a dumbass and forgot about it, thank you for all the well wishes for my father after his surgery. He's home from the hospital and doing rather well. Actually, his rate of recovery put him in the top 5% of people who have this surgery, according to his doctor.
Also, I think I finally have a good idea of how to do the rest of the plot of Stuck at the Galleria. It's much more Tre-centric than I'd originally planned but he's the main character anyway so I think we're good on that front.

Vanilla strips all iframes, unfortunately. That's why our YouTube embeds still use the "old" code, with <object> tags.
...Is it weird that things like SimCity lead to my imagination running wild? The game itself isn't really all that detailed, but nonetheless I find myself wondering about things like what the city's employee email system would be like.
