Hey, guys, guess what I learned today?

It is (wait for it) actually possible for (you're not going to believe this) people to talk about the same subject (here it comes) multiple times!  There isn't a quota or a millennium timer that counts down until a thousand years have passed and you can talk about that subject again.

Do you know what this means!  This means people can talk about whatever people want to talk about!

Which means that I can turn every thread into a linguistics derail, a Reptiles > Mammals derail, a random diatribe about my interests, or an exhortation to read The King's Shadow by Elizabeth Alder.

Subjects can be re-used; and since this is the Heapers Hangout, relevancy does not exist!

YOU CAN'T MAKE ME SHUT UP NOW!  I don't have to listen to any more of your gender-relations, gender-roles, politics, economics, Macklemore, or other such talk!

I can talk about Chanaresuchus as much as I want!

Almost all of the castle’s staff had been dismissed because of the Baron’s paranoia,

So, this sentence comes off as an outside observation (typical of Third Person Omniscient writing); when before, with Darius, it seemed as though we were reading a Third-Person Limited point of view (in that we know only what Darius knows, he doesn't know who the mysterious visitor is, so we don't know, either).  However, that's form, not content.

Darius, Ylna, and Aeylrich have distinct personalities, and I really grew fond of Darius especially; and I felt sorry for Ylna and Aeylrich.

That last story was a good surprise, and I love how it totally messes with the tone of the second story.

So yeah, I like it, it's just that that one sentence feels inconsistent with the rest of the story.

Not so much that you're a Britaboo as much as you are  negative towards The United States Of America and specifically the more western states where you apparently live.

And no, no migrating to Britain.  I want to get all you heaper-people in Estonia so I can destroy you all at once

-actually, in all reality, I am fine with CA's fascination with England and if she wishes, she can go there-

You know, in all the chattering I've seen about TVT's shitty security, nobody's ever pointed out that the captcha on the password-changing page is literally always "ploughed"

Though perhaps more worrying is that the page displays your password in plaintext.

Oh, it turns out I can now tell Central Avenue what to do.  It's weird having such influence.

I mean, if people start listening to me like that, soon they'll all be reading The King's Shadow and frowning at E-books and running away from Almond trees.

So, yeah, Central Avenue, now go do a cartwheel and then give me all your admin privileges and then read THe King's Shadow.  Also, make Popcorn Popping on the Apricot tree the official song of Centralia and then throw a parade in my honor BWA HA HAAA HOW PUT PANTS OVER YOUR ARMS AND RUN UP THE STAIRS GOING WOOOO WOOOO WOOOO WOOOO!

-realizes that I'm not actually an admin, nor am I the boss of CA-

    Drat.  Worth a shot.

    What's so important about security?

I mean, it's not as though getting into my account is going to let you find out my personal identity number.

Dang it, she picks that one to do; and not the "Read The King's Shadow" one.  I mean, is there some sort of chemical imbued within every copy of that book that all of humanity is allergic to except me?

Many people use the same password for multiple sites, so people who are trying to break into other accounts on other sites and things you may have accounts on will oftentimes have a good place to start.

Of course, this is exactly why you should have diverse passwords.
