Hey Professor, pass the iced tea

  • The Move, in general. Also the Pretty Things' S.F. Sorrow, after which a Heaper is actually named

I did not know that's where SFS got her username from. Cool.

Touch the cow. Do it now.
yeah, Moody Blues, The Nice, Yardbirds, Hawkwind, Blossom Toes, all good stuff

  • I feel like I once discussed the fact that a Moody Blues album is one of the few cassettes I own with you, Imi.
  • Touch the cow. Do it now.
    It is possible.

    Many things are possible.

We can do anything if we do it together.
oh yeah, I should've mentioned Chips from the Chocolate Fireball by XTC (under the name The Dukes of Statosphear) too.
  • Touch the cow. Do it now.
shit, I was gonna mention the Dukes of Stratosphear and forgot
  • “I'm surprised. Those clothes… but, aren't you…?”

see that's getting into stoner rock, which is like the "modern heavy" version of psych

which is an area that can include Kyuss, early Monster Magnet, and pretty much anything by Fu Manchu, Melvins, Acid King, Orange Goblin, Nebula, Bongzilla, Weedeater, etc.

I'm well aware. But I have early industrial, psych-punk and weird folk on my list, so stoner metal would fit right in.

Also Bongwater and The Legendary Pink Dots, who are the way, the truth, the swag.
  • “I'm surprised. Those clothes… but, aren't you…?”
Oh, and Sorrow's list owns, by the way.

Unhalfbricking by Fairport Convention and The Madcap Laughs by Syd Barrett are solid psych albums too, as long as we're mentioning lighter stuff.
  • Random thought: I have approximately the same hight and weight as Theodore Roosevelt

and now I'm compulsively updating my list with more stuff that I remember >_<

Oh, and Sorrow's list owns, by the way.

    Thanks!

Did you cut yourself a lot? I always cut myself a lot. We autistic manchildren aren't known for our dexterity...

My hair and beard both grow pretty slowly, so I just go to the local hair salon to get them cut at same time every couple of months.
  • I actually almost never cut myself unless I have a shit razor like a bic or something.

I guess being a cat more than cancels out being an autistic manchild.

    NOT EVEN ONCE

...but I may be doing it wrong. No one ever taught me :V

I really like the feeling of being clean-shaven.

Unfortunately I am also lazy about shaving

    Same.

Also I haven't been able to have a proper razor around the house for a few months now for...reasons.
  • For once, or maybe twice, I was in my prime.
I don't think anyone mentioned Pepe Deluxe's album Queen of the Wave. Though it's not a straight psychedelic album, rather a whole heap of genres with psychedelia as the glue holding them together.

Ah, I didn't know whether to add it in, but yeah, that and Spare Time Machine are quite groovy indeed.
  • For once, or maybe twice, I was in my prime.
I actually prefer the permastubble look on myself, but that's not an option right now. A quality electric razor is a good investment (mine was a b-day present).

I use my dad's electric razor every now and then, as an alternative to the manual razor...

    Centie trivia time:

I live two blocks away from some railroad tracks that were once part of two of the railroads named in Monopoly. Can you guess which two?

(AU and Lee are disqualified since they already know)

    *plays Monopoly with Imi*

*actually, doesn't do that because Monopoly is boring*

    Spoiler:
Baltimore & Ohio (B&O) and Pennsylvania
  • Touch the cow. Do it now.
Monopoly is boring and shoves capitalism in your face and that's terrible

    “I'm surprised. Those clothes… but, aren't you…?”
I was going to guess the Reading and the B. & O. myself.

Looking up what the initials stand for confirmed my suspicion about the latter, but the former? I dunno. Could alternately be the Pennsylvania, but I think that's just cross-state. But the Reading Terminal was in Philly...

    ^^ Oh, hey, cool!

    Aww man, good guessing, Sredni!

    (not sarcasm)
  • “I'm surprised. Those clothes… but, aren't you…?”
    Thank you! ^_^

By the way, if you are ever in Philadelphia, the Reading Terminal Market is amazing. You can get basically anything food-wise there, and what isn't there you can simply walk to Chinatown to get.

After careful consideration MLP and the endless supply of r34 pictures it generates, I've decided parents needn't worry if their children end up being into porn of cartoons, or gay, trans, furry, or anything like that.

They should be worried if they grow up to be Amish.

That's right parents. You may think you're ready for whatever gender your child identifies themselves as or whatever strange new thing comes along, but what the fuck are you going to do when your kids tells you you're going to Hell because you have a Twitter account?
