  • Touch the cow. Do it now.

I'm still not sure I'd be very good at blogging original content. Almost all I've used my Tumblr for is to reblog pictures I like.

Better than me. I just use it for porn.

I actually have a second account for porn. But don't tell anyone! :P

Also, Gator, even if only a little bit of what you post is original content, well...the same is true of 90% of the people on Tumblr (myself included).

I separated my original content into its own blog because I felt like there was no way anyone would ever find it among the hustle-bustle of my main blog.

Ironically, the blog I named Trespeak barely has me speaking at all, while the American Style Buffoonery blog actually ends up containing my most thoughtful posts. Two of which happened to be about my French obsessions.
  • I tried two blogs for awhile but abandoned the "creative" blog cuz meh.

Admittedly, nobody really reads American Style Buffoonery but I'm okay with that. Keeps me from becoming a target for criticism, and not the constructive sort.

    This is the actual worst.
  • Someone thought that it would be a good idea to have a black woman threaten to hang someone in a game set in the early 1900s.

    This was in poor taste.

It's nice that so many people are here this evening...

^^^, ^^ I appreciate the humour, but it's not helping much.

God, I feel so horribly needy.
  • The sadness will last forever.
The one of the big reasons I've never actually got out of writer's block is I hate writing dialogue...because it's too difficult.
  • I HATE SPACERS

    ^^Then write stories without dialogue.

Sounds like a great idea but do books/scripts with no dialogue whatsoever exist?

I dunno, 2001: A Space Odyssey has relatively little dialogue.

Some of Borges' stories have little or no talking.

Funny, dialogue is one of the few things I'm actually good at writing.

I figure it's because, as someone with limited social skills, I've spent a lot of time just observing conversations and trying to figure out how they work.

    That would be nice.

Usually if I suddenly feel like this, he is at least around to talk to, but he isn't now, and it's... a lot like being punched really hard in the solar plexus.

Aww...it's hard, isn't it? Usually Anonus is there for me but sometimes he's not and it feel like I was suddenly left on the moon all by myself.

If you don't mind me asking, how far apart are you two, time-zone-wise?

Yes. It's really my fault in this case: I told him that I didn't think I would be in today and I assume that he went to bed. But in a way, that only makes things worse. I'd rather that the reason were something external, and yet...

One hour. Pennsylvania to Minnesota. Nothing too extraordinary.

    ^^ Aww :\

AU and I are two hours apart...but most of the time our schedules are so out of whack that it doesn't make a very big difference.

    So very true.

Especially when distance keeps you apart... :\
  • We can do anything if we do it together.

Being in love is wonderful and awful at the same time sometimes.
    Agreed.

For the record, SFS and me are three hours apart. She lives in California and I live in Ontario, Canada. This is one of the reasons my sleeping schedule is perpetually so out of whack.

Also, I just realised that it is entirely within the realm of possibility that despite this conversation there will be at least one or two people here that will remain oblivious to our relationship status until some indeterminate point in the future.

    Whee.

    ^ That is extremely unlucky.

^^^ Consider the forum, how quickly this thread moves, the user-ship at large and my own tendency towards being vague whether I mean to or not. It is possible.
