Yeah, but the way Rising Storm, and, by association, Red Orchestra does it is interesting. It's like, you have action, but there's also these elements of simulation in it. You're very vulnerable, you need to work with your team, and you need to make the right choices.
despite the presence of traditional MOBA trappings (creeps, the assorted character roles, the item shop) it also plays a lot like Super Smash Brothers and (I've heard) Team Fortress 2.
I plan to stream it on Wednesday.
also my personal favorite character is a flying time traveling cyborg soviet space monkey so, I mean, if that doesn't tickle your fancy, I don't know what will.
I just don't like the traditional MOBA gameplay, it feels way too RTS-y for me
see I'm the opposite, I actually really like RTSes but I hate MOBAs because they ditch 95% of what makes RTSes fun to play for me. I probably would not have given Awesomenauts the time of day if I'd had to buy it, but I got a free code.
I got my first stream-related games gifted to me today. Big up to Anthonyace33, he gifted me Super House of Dead Ninjas (the steam version, obvs. You don't need to gift the original) and DOTA2.
I'm not sure if I want to set foot in the DOTA waters or not, but I guess I now have the option.
Super Wario Bros. would most likely mean also playing as Waluigi, who's supposedly his brother.(or just his friend)
So... no, not the same idea.
Tingle's had 3 games that starred him, actually. One is just Balloon Fight with him instead, but the point stands.
The only game where Waluigi had some impact was being a fairly important villain in the dancing game. He has a small villainous role in Mario Party 3 too. That's... pretty much the list of his notable roles. I'm not counting having personality among some of them, but in-story purpose.
My favorite character from the Mario franchise has always been Luigi. Even when I was playing the Gameboy port of the original Super Mario Bros, back in elementary school, I'd always pick him.
I think it's because Mario never really has to try while Luigi has all of these issues that keep him out of the limelight. It's relatable. I still wish that he had a more...respectable presence in his solo games.
I really should pick up the Luigi's Mansion games one of these days.
Waluigi lives for the feeling of grass under his cleats. He lives to send the puck downrange, to make a slam dunk. He yearns for the smell of worn rubber to hit his nostrils and for the squeak of basketball shoes to find his ears. Hoopslamming the quarterback thrills him. Kicking a touchdown excites him. Adrenaline surges as he throws that pigskin into the outfield.
Waluigi knows what it is to be alive when he hears Koopas cheering in the stands.

Well, it's not an universal sport. And many places call Soccer Football itself, so it'd be kind of hard to sell outside of a select few areas as is. It's probably not worth the investment until American Football goes worldwide(with an alternate name for other areas).
I want one too, but unless it's an America-only game, of which will get complaints from other areas in the World for not being available(especially with Region Locks being a major thing), so it'll probably enough backlash to make it a bad idea overall.
Comments
I am now half-decent enough at Awesomenauts that I can win a 3-Bar difficulty botmatch while playing as Yuri.
That's still not all that good though I imagine. I'd like to be like, superb before trying to go online blind. I know how MOBA communities are.
GET IT GET IT FUCKING NOW

Yeah it's more of like a beat-em-up platformer.

I will actually be streaming Awesomenauts in about
oh
ten minutes?
Here.
You should make an account if you want to chat.
In one of the CD-i Zelda games, Ganon says "You must die!".

Waluigi has had no individual games, and Tingle has had one, and that is a travesty.

I mean what kind of guy is so insecure that he needs to remind everyone who he is every time he's on screen despite being famous the world over.
You never hear "it's-a me, Luigi!"

Or, maybe Luigi's actually, like, 15 and members of the Plumber species can grow full moustaches before puberty finishes.
