if I somehow got transported in time to the 1990s and did not have access to cable TV well

Man I remember in 2011-13 I used to fill time by watching old episodes of Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego? and Where in Time Is Carmen Sandiego? on YouTube and chatting about them with Professor Gator.

It's funny, in retrospect, how much Time was a downgrade from World. No studio audience, no Rockapella, no Greg Lee...I'm kind of surprised they could afford to keep Lynne Thigpen around, with the obviously slashed budget.

I did watch Where in the World back when it was first on. Never saw Time. Time is much too scary a concept

The one thing I remember really well from Time was how much worse the theme song was.

    Gooseberries are Good (TM).
  • Why is Fritz the Cat a hippy movie? It's about an insincere jackass going around New York trying to get laid.
  • kill living beings
Because some hippies were insincere etc?
  • I haven't heard of Fritz the Cat being referred to as a hippy film

it's as much of a hippy film as We're Only in It for the Money is hippy music
  • voting people off the island

  • It's about a privileged college kid (who is an anthropomorphic cat) going around using "deep spiritual experiences" as an excuse to get laid/look cool in front of his peers.

  • ...THAT is what his art looks like??? this is what the internet was all in a tizzy over? he sucks, what the hell.
  • I always assumed that his notoriety stemmed from some sort of combination of reprehensible subject matter tied to undeniable raw talent or something??

    so now I'm just confused

The question is, is it context you want?
  • Jane said:

I feel I am missing some context here.

shadman was an artist (iirc originally famous for drawing Overwatch porn??) who got banned from Twitter who was notorious his willingness for drawing porn of literally anything, including (if the rumors i heard are true) actual real life children and/or his own mother
