Installations on Windows have been easy in my experience. Took some getting used to after using a Mac for so long, but not anything absurdly difficult. So I'm fine with both.
I did like the freedom I had with moving stuff with my fingers on the keyboard, admittedly, though it's obsoleted by me being able to do that right now (if I want to touch the computer screen). I do vastly prefer the mice, though not purely due to buttons or anything.

maybe there are actual advantages to whatever operating system but people argue about mouse buttons and whether to put the starting bracket on the same line as the for

Installing stuff on Windows is bullshit
99% of the time you have to download some executable and hope it's not malware (even reputable sites can be compromised, after all), run it with admin privileges, and when it's done it will probably demand a reboot

I can't stand it either. Still enjoy talking about myself though.

Though the worst thing about Windows installers is that more and more of them are coming bundled with adware
So if you just use the default options you'll end up with all sorts of shit on your computer you don't want and didn't ask for
You gotta click "Advanced Installation" and uncheck all the tick boxes
it's that time of day when i realize i literally no longer have time to meet all my goals for the day and will have to prioritize
do i value spending time with my brother more than i value not having back and foot pain? do i value my French streak on Duo more than i value getting 7 hours of sleep without screwing up tomorrow's schedule?
You can get a USB mouse or trackball with two buttons; alternately, you can just hit the Control key and click and it will do the same thing.
God, y'all can be weanies. You put up with the hoops Windows makes you jump through to do simple tasks or install simple software and suddenly the mouse thing is the end of the world? Jeeeeez.
Steve Wozniak murdered and ate my parents. Trufax.
Pssst, that didn't really happen, I'm being silly.
Know what feels as weird as it does cool? Playing a game after months of not playing it. It's like, yes hands, yes self, pressing left does indeed make Isaac go......... left.

None of the presidential candidates are people I would support as Dictator of America
The Friday 13th curse is strong with me right now.
First I pour water down myself when washing my dishes. Then when doing the laundry, it turns out that the washing machine hadn't actually washed my clothes despite me actively turning it on. And then when I was doing my second load, the washing liquid tab burst in my hand, meaning I had a very clean but sticky hand (that is still sticky even after numerous washes). And despite topping up my laundry card, all the money in it seems to have disappeared.

i have avoided 'advanced installation' on the assumption that it will be beyond me
