I used to have an iMac that came with a "Mighty Mouse".
It was one of the most infuriatingly designed mice I've ever used, which honestly is pretty uncharacteristic of Apple, especially Jobs-era apple, because they usually had user interfaces down pat.
For those lucky enough not to have used an Apple Mighty Mouse: it's got multi-button functionality, but it's still one big physical button. It's touch based...so to register a right-click, you have to lift your left finger off the mouse so you're only touching the right side.
It was clearly designed by someone who had only ever used a single-button Apple mouse, because nobody right-clicks like that.
I switched to using a Logitech mouse about a year after I got my iMac because the scroll ball on my Mighty Mouse ended up getting full of gunk from regular use and stopped working.
I loved my Mac, but the mouse was easily the weakest part of the hardware.

That being said, I don't mind the concept of a one button mouse, honestly. Using a modifier key with a click to do the right click functions really isn't as unintuitive as it sounds, and if one doesn't like that setup there's always the option of using a standard two-button mouse.
The Magic Mouse doesn't really feel natural to me because it's basically a trackpad in the shape of a mouse, but I haven't ever actually owned one so that might just be the inexperience talking. The trackpad on my MacBook is wonderful, though.

For a while I could "unstick" the scrollball by cleaning it with a little bit of alcohol, but yeah, even that stopped working after a while.

I spent so many hours of my life in front of this here word processing application
Haven't fully thought it out but basically you buy stocks (named after various heapers) and use your gains essentially as MP for attacks against a Demonhead Mobster Kingpin-esque boss. Gaining ownership of companies and building properties are things I'd want to implement but my mind's swimming with ideas right now and it's hard to focus aha
>need to nip to the shops to get some stuff >don't want to move off my bed >want to go outside in the sunshine >don't want to go outside in the sunshine

Option Three:
Pros: > Pie is delicious > Uses up food I have left over that I need to get rid off before moving out > Nice and filling pie > Don't have to go outside
Cons: > Will have no food for tomorrow, thus meaning I will have to go shopping anyway > Not much to go with said pie
it's a government thing, but what tensei is talking about is the government taking more direct control over BBC programming, rather than just appointing some people to do it and funding them, etc

When I got my Mac mini in 2005, I got a Logitech mouse for it at Micro Center (I think) because I was well aware of the Apple mice's reputation. That and why would you use a 1-button mouse in an OS that natively supports right-click? I know OS 9 didn't, but in OS X, there's no excuse.
You can get a USB mouse or trackball with two buttons; alternately, you can just hit the Control key and click and it will do the same thing.
God, y'all can be weanies. You put up with the hoops Windows makes you jump through to do simple tasks or install simple software and suddenly the mouse thing is the end of the world? Jeeeeez.

Syndicated in the '80s, rerun on Nick in the 90's, faded into relative obscurity since.

Another part of me wants to go out and buy something for tea.
And another part of me wants to have the pie I have in the fridge that I was planning on having tomorrow.
