Gives me just the smallest sliver of homestate pride, since most PA rap is garbage (Mac Miller and Wiz Khalifa are our best known musical exports, and they're both from Pittsburgh area anyway).
People said that about Mac Miller too but the only really good things about Watching Movies With The Sound Off was stuff that had nothing to do with him (Flying Lotus beats and various guest verses, mostly).
I think the explanation that was offered to me was something about Scots reacting poorly to the name "McDonald" because it doesn't sound Scottish enough or something.
So my suspicion has always been that this originated from somebody who has a very low-stakes agenda against the Scottish.

I like T-Pain's verse on the remix (presented here), but I doubt any of his stuff would really be to your liking, though some of his more obscure work does have a psychadelic bent. But that said, if you're looking for stoner rap that's not too out-there, Curren$y's Pilot Talk tapes are a better bet.

Watched about halfish of Frozen. It's really good. Don't feel like defending it or arguing about it, though. Just don't feel like devoting the emotional energy to it. The movie's good, dammit, and no, the fact that the one guy rides a reindeer is not perpetuating a harmful stereotype (that's not an exaggeration; I really did see that claim)
