So, for some reason, I decided to upload a bunch of my weird little legal pad sketches to the Interwebs. My current avatar is one of them. Here are some others.
Just in case anyone should care...
That first one makes me think you spent a childhood in Silent Hill
My dad already put me in a mixed mood because he chewed me out over forgetting my phone (which I haven't done in like a month, natch) but then he bought me Starbucks.
Well, not all of it was worthy of such a word but still, I wasn't really active for most of it. My days were spent lounging in the green doldrums of a room that was once mine but seemed to have been progressively taken over by my younger siblings until I'd had enough and more or less kicked them out. In there I would lay on my couchbed and generally waste my days sleeping and my nights would be full of browsing the Internet until the odd hours of the morning when the sky was an amazing blue that showed up throughout the few specks of light there were in my then-black room, at which point I'd kiss consciousness goodbye. And the cycle would continue, over and over, for days and weeks, until an odd trip or two to Winston-Salem or Six Flags would break it. But it just came back again as I stayed in the house.
I did do some things worth mentioning in that room though. Most of which were redrawn things I did on my iPod but still, that counts, right? Right?
...Okay.
So yeah, those are things.
I also made an off mention to Six Flags, which I went to twice (one time in Georgia and one in the nation's capital). Generally both of these were rather un-fun to me, mostly because I only rode one rollercoaster at each and I didn't really see anything I wanted to do (and the one thing I did want to do, I messed up for myself and never want to remember it because REASONS). Also there were a ton of trips to Winston-Salem and back because my sister was in the process of moving into college and stuff. I actually think those might have been more fun because I'm a weird individual that considers almost any time I get out of the house, school and Six Flags notwithstanding, to be a monumental and, dare I say it, historic event.
Sorry for all the scrolling.
Tre.
P.S. Six Flags is cursed. The whole chain. All of it.
Nah, nah, I'm kidding, but yeah, these are the Stuck books.
Stuck at the Galleria: a fictionalized version of me gets stuck in a mall and meets a bunch of kids who live there. That's what I'm (re)writing now. Check it out here.
Stuck at School: Might be shelving this one and replacing it, but it's essentially the same kids with TEEN DRAMAZ BLUH BLUH. I don't like it that much.
Stuck at the Wheel: The Crew become fugitives thanks to being framed for a bank heist they didn't have any part in. There's tons of action and fun and stuff. My personal favorite, though I have not finished it.
There's also a few other ideas and stuff I've had. Those are in the Repo.
Romney has voted with politicians in Congress who have said that they believe that women can never get pregnant in cases of "legitimate rape." Both implications of that are frightening. Whether Romeny himself thinks this, I am not sure, but he has supported people who think abortions are never to be legal, even in rape cases.

You mean the duck fucker?
I've seen this story of Romney and the GOP seeking to "delegitimize" rape and the implications it carries. This is a big deal; a very heinous thing. I've seen it mentioned many times on the like of Facebook and other social networks -- but there's nothing on the major news networks. I've looked on MSNBC, CNN, and Fox News and it's reasonable to assume that it'd be at least mentioned by the ham-fisted angry editorial writers on either side but I see neither that or even a mention of such a thing in the news feed. I really doubt the major news networks would all simply ignore a bombshell like this -- right now they're reporting on how an absent Palin's "presence" is felt at the GOP rally which betrays a dearth of actual news -- so I'm going to assume that this is a load of sensationalism being pushed through the social media networks by people all to eager to believe it.
Can't think of anyone else this stupid around right now, so any reports that "the GOP [are] seeking to "delegitimize" rape" are pure sensationalism.
Here's one image that's popped up on my feed:
There is so much wrong and at the same time speculative about this. And so nicely presented too. This stuff is ripping through Facebook and Twitter at the moment but nothing is being said by the mainstream news who would normally be showcasing such a dire issue. As for the candidates, the mudslinging is about to begin in earnest so I'll wait and see if they drag this point up, but I seriously doubt it.
I think that people are finally starting to wake up to the fact that Paul Ryan is a lot less "wholesome" and "principled" than he was made out to be for so long.

Well, his favorite band is Rage Against the Machine...
