I actually don’t hate all cishet folk. And I probably never will.
But saying I do and saying that I’m just this massive heterophobe sets the right tone for my blog.
Saying that I automatically hate all cishets instantly and forever puts them on the back foot. Because cishets aren’t used to that (unlike queer people who, let’s face it, are used to being told that their gender is invalid and/or their sexuality is immoral).
You see, I want cishets to be on the back foot. Before they engage with me I want them to seriously consider what they’re saying because my life and my blog are not safe spaces for their bullshit opinions.
When writing a message to me, I want them to re-read it numerous times to make sure they aren’t fucking up because I want to get them to start doing it in their day-to-day life. Homophobia and transphobia are so engrained in this society that the only way we’re going to manage to get rid of them is if people start seriously considering what they’re doing. And further to that, we stop giving passes to people because they meant well and start enforcing strict rules on what isn’t okay.
Surely making people defensive and creating a hostile environment for discussion will make the world a better place!
The scary thing is people are reblooging and liking the post quite a bit, so apparently this kind of behavior is encouraged on tumblr.
I wish I could find it again, but at some university here in the United States, someone sent around a campus-wide memo that the word "pets" is no longer acceptable to use anywhere, and the proper term is animal companion and then tried to justify this as showing the proper respect to an animal's place in society.

maybe not in the eyes of medical science but the general public
Also, not "feeling" the weight/size you are isn't really even in the same category GID. It's probably negative most of the time and generally tends to be correlated with poor self esteem, and leads to some pretty consequences. So, even making "transsize" some kind of identity thing on the same level as gender is also bad for people who struggle with body image issues because it trivializes the matter. Not that GID is trivial, but those two things should not be put together at all.
Unless this is a troll, then I'm just over-analyzing.
