Admittedly I'm biased against Kasich after having had to tolerate him as my governor for the past 5 years.
That said, I just keep forgetting Pataki exists because he doesn't get as much mainstream attention for saying crazy things, compared to the others. :v
I never said he was great. I'm simply saying that he concerns me infinitely less than Squire Jeb.

I like how nobody seems able to agree on whether our student ID cards are "BuckID", "Buck-ID", or "Buck ID".
Really it's a pun that works better in speech than in writing.
Guys, guess who is a First class student and has been semi enrolled onto an MSci module because their personal tutor thinks that they might be interested in it?
It basically means that if I keep working hard, I should graduate next year with a First class degree (think highest GPA, whatever it is.)
And the extra module is a computer science module from the Master's degree, which I should not be able to access. But after my meeting with my personal tutor, he said that I should have a look at the material and "self teach" myself the material to see if I find it interesting.
How is that conversation even going? Did he randomly take a break after saying bi? Did she somehow manage to cut in and get multiple words out before he could say two more syllables?
I read an interesting article recently that was about how the idea of the Devil developed, and one point that was made was that in most of the Old Testament, the concept of "evil" as something that counteracts God doesn't really exist. When something bad happens to the Jews, God is said to do it by using foreign kings as a medium to punish the Jews for not honoring the Covenant. God even calls Nebuchanezzar "my servant".
The first time you really see a devil like figure who must be fought, it's Antiochus the tyrannical Greek King who punished the Jews FOR following the Torah. One of the first invocations of a life after death is spoken by a mother who has her three sons tortured to death by Antiochus for refusing to eat pork.
I kind of hate the modern attempt to smear the Macabbees as evil fundamentalists, because Antiochus Ephiphanes was, like, the definition of a colonialist tyrant forcing his society on a weaker group.
Maybe that's why New Atheists like it cough Islam cough cough

This girl, right here :D
I don't know what that means, but it sounds good!

Please shut up during lectures.
Thanks,

I remember it had Samson, since people vaguely remember him
(For those who don't know, Britain First was the slogan of a little-known group called the Blackshirts.)
