I'm just realizing that Utahraptor's argument in panel 5 is flawed
It assumes that T-Rex will only have 10 trillion stair-climbs in so many years, and T-Rex is definitely the kind of guy who picks racing down the stairs over elevators
i think the greater problem is that t-rex doesn't climb stairs since he only does the actions depicted in those panels, repetitively, forever. in that restricted universe there is no possibility of death

Man, when I get immortality, it's going to be REAL can't-die-of-ANY-causes immortality, made by manipulating the universe to bend to my whims with my goddess abilities

I worry I'm wasting my summer
We're almost a week into July already and I haven't really DONE anything with it
"That contest was totally awesome! The Pokémon came out all "Boom!" Then the crowd was all, like, "Whoa!" It made me question my whole existence as a Picnicker. I'm a little distraught... That was fun, though!"

It's ok, it's somehow going to remain summer for at least three seasons' worth of episodes
...that would kind of suck for me considering how awful the heat's been. Or taking it literally it would just be, what, an eighteen hour long summer? I could deal.

This is mostly an issue because I've been experimenting with Madlib-style rapid fade / panning on my last couple songs and this makes it really hard to tell if I've got the delay plugin working right.
I mean it's easy to bellyache my position I suppose given where I'm at.
But I dunno I always have this "well the next one will be the breakthrough" mentality and while I know it's illogical (especially given how little I promote myself and how often I hop genres) I can't seem to shake it.
Which is probably a good thing? I'd probably have stopped by now if I'd shaken it.
This is corny, let me explain in the hopes of making it less so.
It seems to me that most people in this state are either very happy or very sad, I know lots of people on both sides of the spectrum, and furthermore our happiness and sadness seems to be a uniquely Penny sort of such. I've met people who have never left the county they were born in but are possessing of a deep and very outwardly visible contentment that genuinely astounds me. Likewise, I've met many people who are as well traveled as you can be when coming from 'round here but still feel like they're always searching for something. I think I might be doomed to the latter category myself.
And it's hard to write about any concrete stories when the genres you work in are so necessarily abstract but I have songs that are inspired by people--specific or categorical--and by places, or both.

honestly, Allentown just makes me think of "200 Years Old" by Frank Zappa
I was sitting in a breakfast room in Allentown, Pennsylvania . . . Six o'clock in the morning . . . Got up too early . . . It was a terrible mistake . . . Sittin' there face-to-face with a 75¢ glass of orange juice About as big as my finger And a bowl of horribly fore-shortened corn flakes And I said to myself "This is the life . . . "
