I always find it funny when people present bronies as characters whose sole purpose in life is to force ponies upon everyone and cackle maniacally when they resist.

I've learned to tolerate drama...except on the boat
Nintendo is pretty close to being a pure-play video game company, whereas Microsoft is focused on all kinds of computing and Sony is a huge industrial conglomerate that's also involved in movies, TV and music
I don’t like this idea. Cell phones I see as a necessity, and I get the phones for free if I sign a plan. I don’t plan on buying a console every year. I don’t really care about backwards compatibility in this case, I care more about forwards compatibility. If I choose to wait several years between consoles, will it still play the latest games?
It’s only going to cost $99. That’s than two weeks worth of cigarettes in some areas, if you smoke a pack a day. If you can’t afford to keep up with that then you probably shouldn’t be worried about it anyways. It’s not like the games are going to be expensive.
Gamers from the 90’s Arcade culture almost always smoked. I’m sure Polygon is popular outside of the US as well and we are one of the only nations so obsessed with anti-smoking. Head over to a Starcraft tournament or even PAX and ask the smokers what century it is. lol Admittedly, I notice smokers more because I used to be one. I quit around five years ago. When working at E3 I would see a lot of international press members and developers puffing outside of the center’s cafe areas more than US. The point is, the idea that no one smokes anyone is at least in my opinion, a sheltered American focused view.
Are you serious? I’ve got the feeling that since our government has forbidden smoking in closed public places, the amount of people smoking on the streets (especially at bus stops, train stations or similar) has skyrocketed (?). I hate it, because I hate the smell. But, off topic.
better in the streets than in enclosed buildings. Cigarettes are a thing of the past, I think less and less people smoke now, anyone who takes it up now knowing all the facts about smoking is pretty foolish. One thing I’ve noticed a lot is on tv and movies you seldom see the characters on screen smoking, compared to years ago tons of characters in movies and tv shows would casually smoke. but yeh off topic.
i think this annual ouya is way too short, it should be every 2 years. Whats my incentive to buy one a few months before they’re releasing their next version? unless it’s reduced price, but I am doubting that, otherwise people will wait to get it reduced, or they’d make no money.
Also it’s pretty over-confident of them to announce this before the thing is even released and before knowing it it will sell well. they should have asked the question, will this news help sell more first units, or make people wait to see if it kicks off and does well, then buy the better model? I’m in the latter if I do decide to pick one up, definitely on the fence.
I was simply trying to show how insignificant $99 can be. Plus, I smoke. Not a pack a day, but at one time I did. I also run marathons. So say what you will, but smoking isn’t that bad for you if its a controlled vice. Just like all other vices… BUUUT we are way off topic.
You know what bugs me? People who insist that Pokemon is about animal cruelty even though basically the entire series is dedicated to the fact that it isn't.

Possessed? Possessed.
Thanks gaiz.
I like Nintendo's handheld division at the moment. I have no real interest in the Wii U.Clams Casino's Instrumental Mixtape 2 is the soundtrack to my life right now.

Who still smokes? That’s a weird thing to compare it to…
And who still smokes a pack a day?! This is the 21st century people!

#TweetLikeALefty Why do you Tories hate poor people?
#TweetLikeALefty Foreign aid is about showing that we live in a civilised society.
#TweetLikeALefty If we reversed the Tory cuts, there'd be higher tax revenues and a lower deficit.
#TweetLikeALefty This isn't about the deficit, it's about fairness and equality.
This is supposed to be satire of the British Left by the Far Right politician Daniel Hannan
