it's not a catch 22, but it is a thing that feels like one
this whole complex/spectrum of ideas on the internet people have with regards to the delegation of "responsibility" and "offended-ness" with regards to speech and media, it feels like, for lack of a better way to put it, like the whole thing is the intellectual equivalent of a chinese finger trap, any attempt to create any sort of rule or guideline for how it "should" work falls badly short because these things are ultimately intensely specific, no effective generalization can be made
but at the same time, i can't really blame anyone for trying to do it? because it feels like something that should be much more straightforward than it is, and it seems like an obviously good thing to have.
There are certain situations in which one must let go of anger over a piece of media or a work of art because it is no longer worth it, or never was, but that line is never hard and fast. This also works in the opposite direction: There are certain situations wherein righteous indignation over some aspect of a piece of media or a work of art is entirely justified, but there is no universal guiding principle as to when it goes from unwarranted to warranted.
Like, sometimes people need to hear what said Tweeter said, because they are indeed letting themselves be taken over by unnecessary anger and wasting their energy on something that ultimately is not enriching their lives or those of any others. But sometimes the anger is justified, and if eloquently or at least adequately expressed, can be informative and constructive. Sometimes both are true.
its ok to like tangerines grumpus i just dont know why it's a thing again all of a sudden? was there some sort of danimals reticulation gigapause that has only just ended or what
new anime came out
Junko is a qt and also I think Satan? I have not seen the show
anyway the point is, at some point in Danganronpa, Junko attempts to stab her sister and then blow her up with a grenade, and they both seem to just sort of think this is fun.
I'm never going to watch the show because I don't really like plots that revolve around heavy use of main character death, but I am satisfied in what I know of it.
Hi, i’m naney and this is my ramshackle aesthetic/music/rambling blog which i guess is pretty par for the course on this website.
nothing is tagged consistently, and if you ask me to tag things i wont remember to do so probably so if you need specific things tagged this may not be the blog for you?
I’m pretty friendly so if you want to drop me a line feel free.
Note: I try to keep this blog SFW, i have a side blog for more explicit things which you can check out > here < if you are over 18 i guess.
I’m an optician and one day I had 2 women, one blonde and one brunette, come in to pick up glasses. I had the blonde try on hers while the brunette was talking to one of my coworkers. When she put them on I said, “Oh looks like they’re not sitting straight.” Without missing a beat she said “Oh honey, nothing about me is straight,” and proceeded to pat her wife on the butt and say “Honey, did you hear what I said? It was really funny. Honey? Honey, I said nothing about me is straight.”
I do not think that I am what you are here for, but if you are curious: I am a twenty-four year old male human from the United States. I enjoy offbeat artistic media of all persuasions, sometimes creating it myself, particularly music, which may be purchased or otherwise acquired hereabouts. (I also maintain side-blogs for said musical project and general long-form rambling.)
I have a significant other. He is wonderful; sometimes we music together.
I tag things infrequently, mainly for organisational purposes, but I do tend to tread lightly when it comes to gore and NSFW material.

My inbox is always open.
Again, links removed.
I've seen it several times and I had no idea!
Also fixed your formatting so the @ sign doesn't screw up the link. Could do that to your actual post if you like...? Good.
