I like the one where Calvin sez to the TV: "oh great altar of passive entertainment, bestow upon me thy discordant images at such speed as to render linear thought impossible"
I need to be banned from making geeky jokes. Someone in my FF guild asked what DnD class Batman would be. My response? A truenamer, because he's broken and unplayable.

Can you really call Godwin's Law on a guy who exploited populist nationalism to massively expand surveillance, targeted members of a specific ethnic group for prolonged torture, and started two concurrent wars on different fronts based on false pretenses? No, he's not Literally Hitler but it's not quite the same level of hyperbole as most comparisons.

Does anyone else tend to have nightmares in the summertime about snow?
Also I did just watch Steven Universe at work. On their wifi. I should've just gone and used one of the big computer monitors instead of my phone, but that might've been a bridge too far.

It's like, I'll know it's summertime, but in my dream there'll be snow on the ground
Which wouldn't be so bad, except the way my dream logic works, I inevitably have to drive in it
^ I've watched Steven Universe at work before, but my job consists mainly of waiting for things to happen, so nobody would care even if they knew
it occurred to me a few days ago that the reason that i'm not affected by my nightmares I have no emotions in my dreams, no matter how wonderful or mind-searingly awful they are
one of my earliest memories was that nightmare/vaguely erotic in retrospect dream about being bitten by a vampire and after i woke up from that i sat there for a solid minute in bed thinking "wow that was a nightmare, what should i do in the event of having a nightmare oh yeah you run screaming to your parents room" and then i went and did that

I suppose I could watch it AT work if I really feel like living dangerously.
Speaking of old friends, I just realised that I've known some of you people for 6 damn years.

this is almost the exact same thing that happened with Tony Blair over here, but somehow i never thought it would happen to Bush
i guess our countries are more alike than i realized
