Animated Granny Goodness is a good character too. She's basically Amanda Waller if she grew up in a place even more cruel and depraved than 20th century Chicago. With superpowers.
She's actually voiced by Ed Asner, the guy who did Cosgrove in Freakazoid. That's amazing.
Man is a most complex simple creature: see what he weaves, and how base his reasons for doing so.
Okay, not those.
Y'know, cousins, uncles, aunts that you see like once a fucking year and you don't know what to talk about? Tables full of food that you feel guilty about? Trying to get away from it all by interring yourself in your room?
Man, I forgot how annoying the advocacy ads on WTOP could be >.<
I heard one a few minutes ago that was crying its eyes out about patent reform. Some digging shows that the "grassroots" group funding the ad is essentially a front for Dolby, who have become notorious patent trolls in the digital era.
It follows the astroturf playbook (as written by assholes like Rick Berman) to the letter: Recruit a few unrelated companies to show what kind of ~innovation~ we'd be missing, throw up a website full of talking points, then hope some ignorant Congress-critters bite.
In this case, they're dead certain that patent reform would sell our entire economy to the Chinese. As if 1) that hasn't already happened 2) software patents in particular aren't unenforceable scams anyway.
This is not likely to affect patents on hardware as much as it would the MPEG-LA's gravy train on software codecs, which is what I imagine this is really about.

Explanation: I'm learning SolidWorks for an engineering class and a simple model of a camera was something that was easy to make with extrusion tools

Or something like that.
