They put IB Business on my schedule too but I don't think I'll be keeping that class.
AP Literature and AP Euro were really fun. IB Business sounds fun and like something I would have enjoyed, though it's not like IB anything was ever in the cards for me, unfortunately. The only thing I disliked were the exams. Not only were they exams, but wow my hands hurt so much afterwards...

how the FUCK did I end up as a 24-year-old college junior

^^ It wasn't very clear what I was going for the first time

i've heard tmbg before but i've never really been interested enough to actively pursue listening to them
I think that their self-titled, Lincoln and John Henry are the general recommended jumping-off points. I also really like Apollo 18, if mainly for the utter joy of the "Fingertips" suite, so I'll recommend that one as well.

I guess if we're going for high school I might as well just stick with college
I mean, high school is better than middle school, but not that much better
I'm not saying AP Euro wasn't fun. Loved the material. It's just that it's a lot of material.
Well, yeah, totally agreed. Just reminded me of how that class was basically my favorite.
Anyway, today's episode of Kamen Rider Gaim was ridiculous. What the crap.
^ You've got more options in college, generally. Plus older people in high school are far more interesting than boring middle schoolers. Or college, high school, respectively...

And once again I'm worried about becoming a jack of all trades and master of none -_-
We only had 7 people in our class (out of about 100) because it was considered that intimidating.
No one actually got an A.
I find it annoying how schools seem to enforce the idea that getting the wrong answer is worthy of penalty rather than the first step to improvement. It makes people avoid challenging subjects and fear learning, which I find incredibly stupid and dangerous.
I have decided to have 30 minutes devoted to reading, and to listen to one album a day during my time at College, unless it's a bad idea based on my schedule.

This way I will broaden all my horizons.
I recommend Bugskull's Phantasies and Senseitions, Current 93's Thunder Perfect Mind, Gang of Four's Entertainment!, Throbbing Gristle's 20 Jazz Funk Greats, Animal Collective's Feels, Car Seat Headrest's Twin Fantasy, Have A Nice Life's Deathconsciousness, Sonic Youth's Dirty, Swans' White Light from the Mouth of Infinity, DJ Spooky's Songs of a Dead Dreamer, OM's Conference of the Birds, Miles Davis' Tribute to Jack Johnson, Buzzcocks' Singles Going Steady, Quiet Sun's Mainstream, and The United States of America's self-titled.
...a much longer list than I meant that to be, but these are all super good albums that are good introductions to very different things.

Good to know. They have been added to The List.
Tomorrow I am listening to Simon and Garfunkel's Bookends.

Remember last year when I watched two episodes ofthat "It's Your Fault I'm Not Popular" show and then promptly forgot it existed?

30 minutes is not enough for reading.
and add Blue Oyster Cult's Secret Treaties and the Melvins' Houdini
It is extra credit, and also I want to see it.
I'd add Guided By Voices' Bee Thousand and Stereolab's Emperor Tomato Ketchup to that list, too.
