Miko has learned that Marisa-C is a bad choice for Lunatic mode. If you are a noob playing Easy or Normal, you will see a patten and go "hmmm, gee I wonder if I will successfully dodge that or not; oh~! now is a good time to activate my shield so if I get hit I don't die!" but when you play Lunatic that is functionally useless because there are times when you *know* that you will be hit, and a one-time save from death is useless if you will just be struck by something else 1 second later. This is why Lunatics like myself need a good special attack: when we need to be invulnerable, we will be! The tradeoff is that there is no 'safety net' against death.
unfortunately they occur at three predefined (albeit unmarked) chokepoints in the Path to the Lunar Core
or was it the Lunar Core itself
I think it was the path
It was the part with Cecil's Theme
maybe the last one was in the core
protip: never fight a single battle there and use Rosa's warp/exit spell instead to make the monster go away. All that MP will come back at the last boss anyway.

lol Subterranean Animism's Lunatic mode is hilarious. Half of the time (or more?) the very first enemies that appear onscreen at the very beginning kill me. You have to memorize exact placement and timing to dodge through these patterns because they are fast and thick.
The White Dragon counters all physical attacks with Slow and all magical attacks with Earthquake. If the player casts Float on the party before the battle, Earthquake will miss, otherwise it will inflict around 700 damage to all party members. The White Dragon also possesses a strong physical attack and Maelstrom, which reduces all party members' HP to single digits. The player can avoid these attacks by spacing out the character's turns, as counters will reset the White Dragon's ATB gauge.

this sounds like a great design on paper

*high-five* I got see to see them play it live 9 years ago. It was even better seeing them play it live.
also speaking of metal there is that awesome new behemoth track
(*there is an uncensored version of this vid on vimeo go google it if you are old enough to handle seeing boobies*)
now i'm wondering what the difference between the two is...
but you should definitely listen to the music.
like play the video in another tab or something idk.
/mandatory
Now, it's 2 in the morning and I guess it's time for the sleeping
small boobies are fine but large ones are poor form
since they counterattack every hit with a nasty physical hit of their own
or was it the Lunar Core itself
I think it was the path
It was the part with Cecil's Theme
maybe the last one was in the core
Just not necessarily for a ...actually, if it's a ghostly dragon, that's still fine.
but the bosses must actually be REALLY DIFFICULT.
at least they were more challenging in a few cases
but generally speaking you never really needed to know what you were fighting; in most cases it was "here's a monster, kill it before it kills you"
this sounds like a great design on paper
but
when you fight it you realize that, thanks in part to rosa, you can just tank everything
and the boss's script just becomes meaningless
