Yeah, there's a reason why Wrath of Grapes is Steinbeck's seminal novel rather than the Red Pony.
That kind of emotion-jerking is more suited to Lifetime than anything else. Matter'a'fact, that's exactly how a Lifetime/Hallmark horse movie would go, except that it's missing a white woman who's having man troubles.
I mean I like Danny Brown a lot because his voice is offbeat in a good way (imo), and he's also a really clever lyricist, Chance just....idk.
Like I said earlier he sorta reminds me of an early Eminem in some places, and I am not an Eminem fan by any stretch of the imagination. This marks the second time I've failed to get through Acid Rap. I like the beats a lot, but I don't think I "get" Chance himself.

When that happens, when you just can't win no matter what; you don't stop playing, you don't quit. That's when you kick the board off the table and make a new game. Kick reason to the curb and believe in the me who believes in you! Your quill shall be the quill that shall pierce the heavens! Rah Rah fight the power!
Anyways, I think perhaps the anticipation and the feeling of being haunted by possibility is worse than the actual situation itself.
i dunno if i am quite of that opinion, but weighing the two i think i can say i like rollo tomassi more.
mainly due to their falling a bit more on the punk side of the spectrum than DEP, and seeming somewhat more versatile as a result, plus Eva's vocals appeal to my tastes more than Greg's.
though i do hope to see DEP like in August, and if that happens my opinion could very well change.
Remember back in the 50s when they'd record like Elvis singing YOU AIN'T NOTHIN BUT A HOUND DOG and then they'd turn the record over and reverse it and it was all NYERP NYERP NYERP NYERP NYERP and people were all like, "That is actually the voice of Satan coming from that song."

If tomorrow is Saturday, we will go out to the pub for dinner.

Yeah, that's an 8th grade or higher kind of book. At the very least, it's the kind of thing that should be avoided on religious grounds.
giving Acid Rap a second chance.
Action Bronson should not sing.

what about East of Eden
not like MC Ride abrasive
it's just sort of annoying. Especially when he tries to sing.
i was kinda intrigued by the Danny Brown comparison, i've been listening to him a lot lately and i really like his voice.
well I dunno.

Danny Brown is god tier though
And, before Steinbeck, we had Hans Christian Andersen.
And, heck, before that we had those Greek Tragedies where no matter what you do you end up ruining everything.
Anyways, I think perhaps the anticipation and the feeling of being haunted by possibility is worse than the actual situation itself.
