I did this last year, too, though there was no Heaper's Hangout.
Basically I get busier around the holidays with work and guests and have little time for the online world. It gives me time to reflect on the many aspects I don't miss.
I missed here, though, however, I think I might cut back on posting in TV Tropes. Especially OTC. It's just not as intellectually rewarding as it used to be.

Having time off from school makes you want to spend time on time-wastey things, doesn't it? I know it does for me.

I don't know what ABC Lionsgate's logo should look like.
Elements of either namesake's logo could either be included, or absent. Their drab color palettes (ABC's black-and-white and Lionsgate's grey-and-white) would not be emphasized.

For some reason I imagine the simplest version just being a black-and-white ABC logo next to a black-and-white rendering of Lionsgate's wordmark, though that kinda seems like a cop-out.

I almost kinda picture it as an interim logo, used between the merger and a pending rebrand.

I'm home now.
Port Columbus's terminal is very generic-looking, and as international airports go I imagine it's on the small side, though admittedly I have no point of comparison there.
Also, the signage throughout the airport is set in Frutiger, including not only the signage in the terminal itself but also the road signs (even Interstate shields!) and the signs in the parking garage.

Also there is a portion of International Gateway (the main road through the airport) where what was once an intersection has been rebuilt as just a turn in the road. That's not so weird in and of itself, but the traffic signal that was over the intersection was left in place, and now just shows steady green right-arrows all the time.

I don't know. For some reason it almost looks like there's too much white space.
Having a name split across rows like that only really seems to work when the rows are tightly spaced, you know?

Now I'm wondering if the "ABCL" portion would ever be used alone.

"Serious Discussion" has shown up ~three times in KC Green's work...I have no idea if he 's lampooning a show or not.
The formula is pretty much the same; Paulsberg sets things up for a nice serious discussion and Wolffox very quickly derails things in a very foul mouthed manner.

" How do you find all this stuff?"
I'm trying to even remember when I found Gunshow comic... I've been into web-comics since the early years of Penny Arcade and follow a lot of links off web comics.
I also consider searching and reading random shit off the internet a form of recreational activity.

I like a lot of his work.
Horribleville had some good comics, but also it seemed to be the cartoonist struggling with his own feelings of inadequacy. Truthfully, I feel better than he's done with it and only does Gunshow, A web-comic can get down right depressing when you figure out it's about how a man can't really stand himself.
Worth pointing out that Horribleville ended on a high note, which definitely brought a sense of closure to it.

I kind of want to binge it.
...for some reason I want to go back to the hotel mother and I stayed at the day before the painters came.
We went there as some sort of stress-relief thing. And we spent most of the next day at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. It feels very strange that this was more than a year ago already (September 26-27, 2010.).

Oh god I hope not. God knows Wal-Mart doesn't need to be any bigger.
And neither does Target, really.
Not to mention that if they didn't have to compete with each other, their prices would probably skyrocket.

And the orange is in my head from the Ubuntu fonts' site.

What are your thoughts on ABCL's "logo"?

And the concept is probably stupid for a logo, but one I am somehow fond of.
And I can't find that "anonusano" avatar I made a while back.
I should focus on their current state, not the fact that they own 20000000000000 B-movies they inherited from other companies.
i'm tired whee.

I'm not sure how well Mandate Pictures would fit in. I don't know if Lionsgate owns the distribution rights to any of its productions.
