The movie, while it's not as painful to watch as SBIH made it out to be, is still jam-packed with 1970s variety-show cheese. It's like Superman: The Musical and The Muppet Movie had a secret love child. :o
Hagan herself would be pretty cute if it wren't for all that Joker makeup. :P

In 1868 illuminated traffic signal was installed in London near the Houses of Parliament. It was designed to aid the traffic policeman there, particularly during hours of darkness when visibility was poor. The device had semaphore arms to signal drivers and pedestrians during the day and it had red and green lenses illuminated by gas for viewing at night. The police officer would turn the signal 90 degrees to position the semaphore arms and the colored lenses towards traffic as needed. This was the first recorded use of illuminated red and green colors to control traffic. Unfortunately the device exploded in January of 1869, injuring the policeman that was operating it. This particular idea was not tried again.

When it comes to what's considered actual "art" is something I've really relaxed about over the years. I used to hate modern art and other things that weren't done in an absolute classic fashion which was rather hypocritical considering what I draw and do; now with a more mature mindset I find a lot of merit in those works I held such contempt for. Nowadays I consider art to be anything someone puts themselves into as a form of expression. It's really that simple. Even the work of the shittiest OC fanartist on DA qualifies as this if it's really what they honestly enjoy doing.
But even under that tolerant definition, I have my limits. And this shit right here is not fucking "art". Yes, he does copy and paste those images on there. You nor anyone else can fucking tell me with a straight face that he's putting any heart or soul into taking comic book clipart and slapping text on it. He's taking a simple political issue down the laziest route possible and now stand back everyone, we have a legit avant garde art-eest here.
