in like 20-50 years' time i should think it fairly likely Ireland will be reunified, just because the younger generation really doesn't seem to care so much about the old conflict, and the British government are making themselves so unpopular even with loyalists
along similar lines i should think if there were another referendum on Scottish independence (and it's only a matter of time), there's a very high chance they'd vote Yes now, even in the absence of Brexit
of course i'm one of those weirdos who thinks a European federation is a good idea, and i don't see that happening any time soon, if it does the UK won't be in it
