I have entered the "staying up all day in an attempt to fix my sleep schedule" phase, something I haven't done before.

CA: this doesn't work as an instant fix. As you'll find out today, you'll fight sleep all the way until bedtime and then whenever you do want to go to sleep, despite being awake all day, your body will decide it's awake time. At most, you'll get 2-3 hours sleep and wake up feeling refreshed.
It's going to take at least a week to get your circadian rhythm back on schedule.
