Same with Dark Duel Stories and others. I think Forbidden Memories was based upon it.
There was also uses of Metalmorph to change other monsters besides the "canon" ones.
Also, apparently 4Kids called Succubus Knight Demoness Knight. What's wrong with this picture? Maybe after Upperdeck changed Demon to Fiend...?
Could've been worse.
Oh, and another one. Garma Sword requires Succubus Knight. I honestly love all these Ritual requirements. XD I wish I knew what Fortress Whale would've required... wait, it was either Mech Bass or Metal Fish, never mind.
Remember back in the 50s when they'd record like Elvis singing YOU AIN'T NOTHIN BUT A HOUND DOG and then they'd turn the record over and reverse it and it was all NYERP NYERP NYERP NYERP NYERP and people were all like, "That is actually the voice of Satan coming from that song."
You don't have to download anything specifically for Duel Network, as far as I know. You just have to sign up for an account, assuming you're willing to use one of your email addresses.
I would join in, but I'm still scared of my internet connection dropping, so I might wait on getting back on for a little bit. Sorry, Lazuli.
My internet has been kind of sucky lately. Do the rulings work correctly? That's very key to signing up. Also, quite busy these days... How fast is it?
holy shit I just discovered the Legendary Collection #2!
and the LCGX pack.
There are Ultra Rare reprints of all the common cards I loved. And they're super cheap. I can now make Meatspace decks for cheap, like Glad Beasts, Yubel and increase the rarities of all my Lightsworn monsters easy

There's no hard-coded ruling software, or any hard-coded software at all for anything but the basics. Everything is manual (think MtG's Cockatrice program). So, if you mean fast as in non-laggy, fast enough provided you're not using say, dialup. If you mean fast as in, fast-paced, not necessarily. Depends on how you and your opponents play.
I should note that one of the few things that is hard-coded is the banlist, which is pretty strictly enforced in the deckbuilder (ie. you literally cannot have more than one Monster Reborn, even if you try to put in the two different prints, it just won't let you do it).
You can put in Forbidden cards (limited to 1), but it won't let you play with them outside of the Traditional Format column.
Well, if you keep a Skill Drain handy, you can summon this thing in the first turn of the duel, and avoid the "can't attack the first turn it was summoned" part since, you can't attack when you go first anyway.
Skill Drain only applies to monsters already on the field, does it not?
It doesn't negate its absurd summoning conditions. And even if it did, it'd be immediately destroyed the second Express hit the field, since it makes you blow up your own side of the field to summon it.

Ah, okay. I can make Traditional and Advanced decks. I run a VWXYZ DMoC deck.

It can't be summoned if you control any other cards, actually.
Arrow Train is only usable for stuff like Double Attack, removing from play for Overload Fusion for Overdragon, discard fodder, or the best topdeck ever. ...Yeah, you can't even Treeborn Frog or Sinister Serpent/etc...
I'm not saying it's useless, I'm just saying there's so many simpler ways they could've made it work. Like, "reveal the top card of your deck to your opponent before drawing" or whatever. But no, it's "flip your deck upside down" for some reason.

Wait, which card? Rocket Arrow Express, Convulsion of Nature, or Reversal Quiz?
I didn't know they added "Cannot be Normal Summoned or Set" to Ritual Monster effect text now. I thought it was a "no duh" thing since the Blue Card Border would kind of tell you it's a Ritual Monster and you would have to Ritual Summon it.
Unless they invented Normal Summonable Ritual Monsters?
Note that every single differently colored monsters besides Effect and Normals are in your Extra deck except Rituals. So people might summon it without the Ritual card because it doesn't have a very specific Extra deck requirements like the other 3 kinds do.
Also, odd dream last night. Apparently I was a superhero version of Shooting Quasar Dragon. And I worked at a party place. Something like a bar/restaurant... instead of Burger King, which I didn't work during my shift.

It sounds like you'd have to be pretty lucky to pull it off, since you're not allowed to have anything in your hand when your turn ends while Rocket Express Train is on the field. But that would be pretty cool to see.
so today is the first time in about six years I've actually bought YuGiOh cards. Bought a Dark World deck from a local Rite Aid, and a pretty good deck too. It's got Card Destruction in it, which murders with this deck.
Comments
Okay, not part of a standard Gradius deck then. At least not as far as I know.
It's kind of useless on its own and doesn't fit with the tactics of the deck well, imo.

Basically you Tribute it to Draw 2 cards, and it immediately ends your turn.
I ACTIVATE MONSTER REBORN ON "OLD HEAPER'S HANGOUT THREAD"!
hi all.
anyone want to play a children's card game on Dueling Network.
You don't have to download it. You sign up for it, but there's no downloading required.
You may be thinking of Kaiba Corps. which is a similar service that you do have to download, and is also much shittier.
For you, I suppose. I haven't actually bought any cards in years. Don't really have the money. I don't even have anyone to play with if I did, so....
S'alright.
I would like to submit this as my new favorite name/art combo for a monster.
Try not to imagine this thing flying at you screaming COWABUNGAAAAAAAH in a high pitched voice. I dare you.
The Flaming Skull archetype is totally based off of Ghost Rider.
Also you should totes sign up for Dueling Network so we can play.
Do eet.

So, earlier I was trying to make a deck around Rocket Arrow Express, and it struck me that it's simply impossible to do.
Like
this is a last resort card. You can't make a deck around it. Which is so, so disappointing to me on so many levels.
I has a sad.
Well, you can.
Just not a "good" one.

Wait nevermind you couldn't activate Skill Drain in any shape or form either.
Damn this card really really IS hard to work with.
Well, I don't really stick to one format.
Whichever one you'd call "following the current banlists but not playing competitively" I suppose.
And I run....whatever deck I happen to be running at the time. I have like nine of the things.
Indeed. It has a companion card (Snow-Plow Engine Hussle Russle, I probably spelled that wrong) but it's not on Duel Network yet.
Strangely the Xyz monster that the two are usually set to form (Gustaph Max) is.
I think "Convulsion of Nature" still wins in the "why?" department.
There are so many simpler ways to do what that card does, but its effect is hilariously stupid. So I love it anyway.
I know.
