He's a character from Quest 64. I even made almost every monster into a Yu-Gi-Oh card. ...then lost the files.
Yeah,but whatcha gonna do?
My favorite two are Wyvern and Red Wyvern.
Wyvern
Level 4/Wind/Dragon
2000/2000
"This card is unaffected by your own trap cards. For every monster on your side of the field except this card, decreases its attack and defense by 400 Points."
Red Wyvern
Level 6/Fire/Dragon
3000/3000
"This card is unaffected by your own trap cards. For every monster on your side of the field except this card, decrease its attack and defense by 500 points."
Remember back in the 50s when they'd record like Elvis singing YOU AIN'T NOTHIN BUT A HOUND DOG and then they'd turn the record over and reverse it and it was all NYERP NYERP NYERP NYERP NYERP and people were all like, "That is actually the voice of Satan coming from that song."
I'm thinking about making a dragon-themed deck (creative, I know), but I'm not sure which ones to use. There's a lot of them, it seems. Any recommendations?
I know from earlier in this thread that Stardust Dragon is pretty popular, but I'd like some other suggestions, too.
Keep in mind that Stardust Dragon doesn't have any real synergy with dragons, though. You may want to get a Debris Dragon, but without Dandylion, making one is pretty hard.
Unless you use Treeborn Frog too.
Besides that, are you going for a particular dragon theme?

Actually, I was asking for suggestions because I didn't really want to use Stardust Dragon.
And no, not particularly. Blue Eyes seemed somewhat appealing, but I was looking for other ideas just in case. I also looked up Viani's suggestions, and I'm liking them.

Light and Wind seem the most appealing. I'd pick Water, but they're either one of 10 ice dragons or not technically Dragon type.

Apparently, Armed Dragon (not the Dark one) and Dragunity are also Wind.
This is a lot more options than I thought. Odd but nice.
Dark Snake Syndrome and PMD seems to work to a extremely wacky advantage, to where the damage scales up each turn, and PMD gives so much life points from it the game is almost stalemated.
The same guy and I once ended a duel on a draw at 14,800 to 14,300 LP, my favor by this method.
An Effect Veiler does help. But, IMO, a limit on Zenmaighty would kill the combo.
And the only player won't come down anymore. I can deal with it. Oddly enough, if we had Sinister Serpent back and Night Assailant to 3, the combo wouldn't do so well. Also, putting in some Fear from the Dark for sidedeck purposes work well. It goes head to head with Reborn Tengu, plus, it's not a bad card anyway.
It's kind of naive to expect that from something that's merchandise driven.
Quite simply, you ignore the broken parts of the game and only play with the ones that make sense. Unless you're some kind of tournament nut or something, but if that were the case, we probably wouldn't be having this conversation because you'd have derided us all as noobs long ago.
Eh, I liked it once we got the Xyz stuff. They're overall more balanced than the Synchros and harder to pull off much of the time.
Synchros? No challenge at all to even summon stuff like Shooting Quasar Dragon. Now it's near impossible to summon him and still have a good hand, the way he was meant to be played.
Because you need to have the exact levels to do it. It especially gets harder when you need to summon a Level 5 version, or require very specific requirements.
Synchros are mostly generic, or an entire archtype has beyond good synergy. Take Shi-En. His requirements are laughable in the appropriate deck.
Or Brionac. Too easy. Stardust? Piece of cake. The only ones that are hard are the ones that require stuff like Tuner Synchros, or a Dark Tuner, etc.
Xyz, however, if you don't have the exact same levels, you have to wait for another appropriate card helper. Otherwise, you can't do it. Outside of Rescue Rabbit, it gets rather ridiculous trying to Xyz summon. Not counting Tourguide, but that's her function anyway. Without Sangan, she's not nearly as bad.(and the only reason why she's so freakin' annoying, since she makes generic searching too easy) Her requirements are balanced. The problem is that it's still too easy of a +1.
Xyz are not super easy to make. But a Synchro is far easier due to it being easy to make almost any level.
When it comes to more simpler ones, like 2 Level 3s (have 2 level 3s on field, put them on top of each other, and then put the Xyz on top) it seems marginally easier than waiting for a tuner and the correct added level.
To be honest, I haven't really played this game much at all since after Ancient Prophecy, since I couldn't find a group here to test different decks with that weren't really Tourney decks.
Personally, I prefer to make themed decks (Gem-Knights! Gusto Tribe! Lavals!) moreso than anything. Or decks that are a challenge to win with, one or the other.
I mostly main Lightsworn which is why I end up playing against Meta/tournies since it's a notch above normal decks since they have access to Honest and JD and it gives them unfair advantages over most of the decks...that and most people go "Judgment Dragon? Ain't playing against you."
Lightsworn is slightly better this format thanks to another Lumina. But with 1 Charge, only 2 Necro Gardnas... and 3 JD, they won't do well.
I haven't used any Xyz's yet, but I rarely can keep more than one of the same level out. But it can be done with the right decks. Harpie's are good at Level 4 and 6's, for example.
I know a lot of people play it, but I've honestly never dueled against a Lightsworn deck.
If it's as broke as people say it is I don't have much of an interest in doing so, either. At least not more than once or twice.
I suppose it's unfair of me but I get annoyed at my opponents when they don't switch up their decks every now and again. It's a tad unrealistic to assume everyone is a compulsive deckbuilder like mois.
Well since I don't play with 3 Judgment it's the more fair build that isn't geared towards (Blow up field with 1st Judgment, summon other 2, attack for 9000) and more about the actual lightsworn monsters.
The best way to make a comp. deck around him is to use cards like Tyrant Neptune. Unfortunately it's impossible to Skill Drain him or Chalice him, so he is the solemn card on the field, forever.
You can use Sky Scourge Norleras to kill every card on the field and in both hands, and then add this guy to your hand as the bonus card Norleras gives you. Norleras kills off all cards, and lets you grab the top card of your deck (you can use Feather of the Phoenix to topdeck RETRA) and then draw into him while you have nothing.

Hirene.
Also, yeah, YuGiOh decks don't tend toward that expensive.
Lavaar?
Lazuli is fine.
I can understand that, unfortunate though the reasons are. :(
i get so angry sometimes i just punch plankton --Klinotaxis
Their effects seem self-defeating.
I'm not familiar with that series anyway, though.

badump.
Gator! Make a blue eyes deck and have Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon as your trump card. Even though it makes no sense!
So I tried out both a Laval and a Gishki deck today. The former was awesome, the latter, significantly less so.

I'm sorry, I just don't see how any of this actually matters unless you're a tournament player.
I like Synchros.
I also fail to see how summoning an Xyz is harder. If anything it's easier unless you're trying to summon Gustaph Max or something.
If you say so.

I still think there must be a way to build a competitive deck around Roaring Express Train Rocket Arrow.
I only want to because all the metagamer people on the DN forums hate RETRA and think it sucks, and I would like to prove them wrong.
I'm thinking some sort of combo with Great Marju Garzet or whatever his name is.
