  • Got some wheat gluten (for the reasons I cannot begin to phantom it was sold in a fish store), so going to experiment more

    Made some garlic and onion bread today, and it is beyond delicious. Whole wheat flour, gluten, salt, fructose, garlic powder, dry fried onions, water and yeast.

    Reminds me of the onion baguettes I've had every day in Hungary.

    That stuff's super-easy, even if it's not fast.

    Also, it looks like I shouldn't be afraid of adding proper sugar to bread - it is mostly for the yeast to eat anyway
