  • Not exactly sure when it was, but my first ever video game was Pokemon Yellow on my pink Gameboy Color
  • Poor little Toolsie could not understand why her Pikachu couldn't win against the Pewter City gym.
  • Touch the cow. Do it now.
    Never played Pokemon, myself...

my first game was Super Mario Bros.

I know my first game was Pokemon, but my clearest childhood gaming memory is playing Spyro The Dragon 3 on the PS1, and being late for tea because I needed to find that last damn egg to complete a level.
  • The oldest I can remember is Donkey Kong. I would keep pressed one of the buttons and see what happens.

According to my brother, my first game was Eagle's Nest.

    I loved the Spyro games
  • Oldest game I could remember playing was Super Mario World and I loooove it.
  • We can do anything if we do it together.
Mine goes back to the SNES myself.

I've played a few NES games, but the SNES is the console that really impressed itself on my tastes.

    Transient.
Supes Mario World was I think the first game I played throughly, we didn't have many games so we had to make them count. I remember I deleted files all the time because I didn't know what the delete screen was but I liked it (IIRC it was the same as the regular screen but darker).
  • Touch the cow. Do it now.
I remember getting Super Mario World in the summer of '92 and playing it for literally about six hours straight.
  • I've just had an allergic reaction to some face cream.

Whilst I go sort my face out, here's my collection of video games (not counting the ones stored on my PS4 directly): http://i.imgur.com/jlS2Tdh.jpg
  • No 50 CENT: BLOOD ON THE SAND? Tsk tsk.
  • Touch the cow. Do it now.
alas, I haven't played any of those, except I know I tried the first Tomb Raider once or twice.
  • Clearly you all need to know the best game ever is Big Rigs.
  • Alright, I am back with wet cotton pads on my cheeks to reduce the swelling.

Hurray for sensitive skin and bad taste in games.
  • I always thought it was weird that they renamed Into the Nexus over there

It's one of the few entries I can name that don't have anything to do with double entendres, lest one decide to get very creative with their metaphors
  • ...And even when your hope is gone
move along, move along, just to make it through

    pffffffffffffffft.
  • See? Aliroz knows Big Rigs is GotY all the years. NiER Automata? Utter shit compared to Big Rigs. Breath of the Wild? Not even close to Big Rigs' true freedom. Nioh? Get that weeb shit outta here, Big Rigs or bust.
  • Touch the cow. Do it now.
    I pick bust
  • kill living beings
hacked nier automata so that you can run at infinite speed, but only backwards
  • Run beyond the boundaries of the game, run backwards into the void.
  • For once, or maybe twice, I was in my prime.
If you run backwards long enough, you accelerate to 12.3 undecillion miles per hour and instantly win the game.
  • kill living beings

but cat names are cute and fun

no, cats are cute and fun. cat names are a futile attempt at imposing order on the inherently incomprehensible world of felines
  • The Naming of Cats is a difficult matter,
    It isn't just one of your holiday games;
You may think at first I'm as mad as a hatter
When I tell you, a cat must have THREE DIFFERENT NAMES.
First of all, there's the name that the family use daily,
Such as Peter, Augustus, Alonzo or James,
Such as Victor or Jonathan, George or Bill Bailey--
All of them sensible everyday names.
There are fancier names if you think they sound sweeter,
Some for the gentlemen, some for the dames:
Such as Plato, Admetus, Electra, Demeter--
But all of them sensible everyday names.
But I tell you, a cat needs a name that's particular,
A name that's peculiar, and more dignified,
Else how can he keep up his tail perpendicular,
Or spread out his whiskers, or cherish his pride?
Of names of this kind, I can give you a quorum,
Such as Munkustrap, Quaxo, or Coricopat,
Such as Bombalurina, or else Jellylorum-
Names that never belong to more than one cat.
But above and beyond there's still one name left over,
    And that is the name that you never will guess;
The name that no human research can discover--
But THE CAT HIMSELF KNOWS, and will never confess.
When you notice a cat in profound meditation,
The reason, I tell you, is always the same:
His mind is engaged in a rapt contemplation
Of the thought, of the thought, of the thought of his name:
    His ineffable effable
    Effanineffable
    Deep and inscrutable singular Name.

if I give you an orange cat, that is very cute

if I tell you that the orange cat is named Mango, it is even cuter
