people that painfully put on weirdness do exist. you shouldnt be like 'no you are really just like me stop pretending to be weird', you should just sigh and pay them no attention, because that is probably why they are pretending to be weird: attention. on the other hand most people on this forum, i would say, are pretty damn weird already and dont need to be putting anything on.

Really? I've seen several around here where they've left mast arms in place, or even left wiring ready to be used, but usually they don't bother springing for the signal heads themselves until construction on the road is at least started.
Makes me suspect they intended to extend Emerald Parkway very soon after they installed the signals, and some sort of blocking issue came up.
