would be great if the QR or username systems they've already got could let you add folks, though I guess they didn't want people abusing those by adding people without their permission, though that would be solved by having it be an opt-in thing like the other ones
having observed their behavior from afar these past few years I figure they just would rather preemptively prevent abuse through obtuse means than use the traditional methods and then patch up the holes later

i think 5-7 may be drawing upon the conclusions of other arguments, perhaps from Greek philosophy (i am reminded of Xenophanes, Parmenides and Plato), but i am uncertain
actually i guess i'd also want to query 4, which afaict only follows from the premises if you disallow infinite regress, and given that the question is a cosmological one and physics is often counter-intuitive, i'm not sure that's a given

the ensuing debate was a protracted and fairly sloppy attempt to dispute the first premise, which of course can be done but only with great sacrifice
i feel like i would be more inclined to dispute the premises marked 5 and 7, and, with some reservations, perhaps 3 as well
