A bit late, but
Make a blue eyes deck and have Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon as your trump card. Even though it makes no sense!
Funny thing about that. I actually made a Blue-Eyes deck in addition to a generic Wind-attribute dragon deck on DN. No Photon Dragon, but Blue-Eyes has Hyozanryu to be her defensive buddy.
There's also 5 different reprints of Blue-Eyes. I'm tempted to go back and reconfigure the deck so I have 3 different reprints.

If it makes you feel better, I feel like I mostly won those duels through luck. I only really had a less than 1% chance of getting those particular cards in my opening hand in both duels.

Today's been kind of a rough day for you in DN, I've noticed.
I generally play in Unrated Advanced as well. Ranked matches are insane, and Traditional is full of "no (anything that can beat my deck) and NO CHEATING"
There's a certain bizarre strategy to "accumulate as many life points as possible to force your opponent into a draw", but I would not call it a winning strategy, really.
Still, let them do what they want. At least I'm not predictable!
Well...I am to you guys because I tell you what decks I make.
If you are going to Special Summon Chimeratech Overdragon, you can use Future Fusion to send Cyber Dragon, 3 Jinzo - Returners and 3 Jinzos from your deck. When the Jinzo-Returners are sent to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon the Jinzos that were sent.
You now have 3 Jinzos on your side of the field until the End Phase.
and now, since you have 3 darks in your Graveyard, you can feel free to Summon Dark Armed Dragon afterwards.
So you can remove the Jinzo-Returners to blow up whatever's in your way with Dark Armed, and then use your 3 Jinzos and Dark Armed to beat down for some heavy damage.
If that backfires, then just dump the Future Fusion, and use Overload Fusion to get a Chimeratech Overdragon a couple turns later with 5600 ATK/DEF.
Does anyone else find it amusing that, even when equipped with both cards made specifically for it, Gradius is utterly useless even in a deck built around its own archetype?
Victory Viper XX03 is it but better. I find the lack of foresight unsurprising, but amusing.
Gradius came out in PSV too, a theme that he should have been awesome in. Gradius needs a retool just like BLS or Celtic Guardian, so his decks can be epic as well.
I know they are, but I actually use them in the same deck.
The Option Tokens provide good fodder for tribute-summoning a B.E.S. to use Boss Rush on.
And I think Victory Viper was kind of meant to be a retool of Gradius, since I think that Vic Viper is what the actual ship in Gradius is called, but don't quote me on that.
Vic Viper is the original name of the ship. Upperdeck most likely didn't think the Gradius archtype would continue much.
Yellow Luster Shield is the official name of Chaos Shield. Stupidly so. I mean, seriously, how do you go from such an awesome name to such a Lackluster name. :|
