So, it's another Hell Week for me.

Meaning my supervisor at work is on vacation and I have to do extra hours to make up for that.

These usually go pretty fast, but still it's a lousy deal.

So I'm at work, trying to wrap my head around the tangled kudzu mess that is our VMware cluster. I have no idea why my uncle let his friend talk him into this; we can do 90% of what VMware does on a Linux machine running VirtualBox, and VBox is much friendlier to, let's say, OSes that aren't Windows. (VMware ESX requires a Windows-based client for most of its configuration. Seriously, what the hell, you may as well just use fucking Hyper-V.)

But what really pisses me off? The file servers are running Openfiler, which is all well and good, but I need to figure out how to get the Web interface to do more than just let me change the quotas.

Guess what? They charge for the manual. THEY CHARGE FOR THE FUCKING MANUAL.

Nor even Microsoft does that.

All I can say is:
