Ramsey also takes a week to try to turn things around instead of just three days.

Season four and five of the UK version got irritating when they started just piling in shit tons of music.

Though, they started to dial it down in season five to a happy medium that I think improved the show.

Edit: Eh, watching it more and the music is annoying me again. Someone needs to tell the music director "less is more".

...I guess, basically, I'd find the show more entertaining if little things like "morals", "ethics", and "laws" didn't stand in the way of Ramsey making a place successful.

Ya, I was thinking warm wax.

Can't really remember any personal experiences of getting hot wax on myself (though I honestly wouldn't be surprised if something like that did happen but the memory got blocked), but I do remember how hot wax (from a candle, obviously) once got on our TV and proceeded to melt partway through the plastic.
