I'll be damned if all of the fossilized pokes aren't interesting to some degree.
I gotta thank Satoshi Tajiri for making me ridiculously more interested in biology, animals, wildlife, and just ecosystems in general, while on the subject.
Gen II is my favorite because you got to go to multiple regions, and i feel like the designs fell into this really good place where they were still simple but not as constrained by technical limitations
So, Undertale beat Pokémon RBY in the Gamefaqs contest, which predictably lead to a ton of whining. And it makes me wonder just how many people actually remember what Gen I was like.
Honestly I'm just glad FF7 end everyone's huzbandos didn't win yet again.
So, the final boss of Xenoblade X is kinda amazing in how poorly designed it is. It's a 4 phase fight, with checkpoints between each phase. The third phase has you fight 10 level 48 enemies, at once, each of which has a hard hitting AoE attack.
At no point in the fight can you back out to repair, and you need your mechs to beat the first two phases, with the third being almost impossible without them, since you'll be torn apart like wet tissue outside of them.
Man is a most complex simple creature: see what he weaves, and how base his reasons for doing so.
Carmilla Shen always wanted to be the Mistress of Mystery, but if it means becoming an actual superhero, she'll settle for the gauzy mantle of THE SILVER SHROUD.
For Splatfest I can't decide between Team Naughty and Team Nice. I really like the red ink, but I like Marie more than Callie, and she looks really cute on the Nice picture.

I voted for Team Nice. Sure, I am nowhere near perfect, but Team Naughty just makes me think of dark and edgy stuff, so I cannot in good faith support it.
Because of how building stuff works in the game and its need to be accessible, it doesn't actually give a damn about things like "gravity" or "mass" with regards to the building.
What you do is build a tall platform. Then you build a staircase that goes up. Then you build a floor from that staircase. Then you build another staircase going up. And then you keep going until the game tells you to stop. And at that height, you build your treehouse.
Here are some other impossible buildings that I didn't build:
Weirdly I think it is a far more general stab at the idea of a governing body demanding unquestioning reverence rather than just an attack on the Catholic Church

Assassin poems, Poems that shoot
guns. Poems that wrestle cops into alleys
and take their weapons leaving them dead
Great game, by the way. Thank you all for obsessing over it so much that I had to play it.
That was fun. Let's finish the job.
