The scariest Tumblr post I ever saw (well, before I saw genderbitch's defense of drunk driving) was one posted while The Legend of Korra aired. I had it bookmarked for a while, but I can't find it now.

Basically, the blogger argued that we shouldn't root for the protagonists, because in taking on the Equalists they were attempting to protect their own privilege. And that argument's not without merit--the show makes it entirely clear that benders in their society are oppressing non-benders.

The problem , though, is that the Equalists were literally advocating genocide of the bending population. Apparently fighting to stop the genocide of your own people is a bad thing if you're privileged. *eyeroll*

The second scariest post was probably the one I saw the night that fake "Sburb" file was running around, where some blogger said he hoped Sburb was real so he and the Homestuck fandom could destroy this universe and make a better one.
