Doctor Who reference in Pokemon B2W2? Headcanon accepted.
multiple personality disorder, considering it's even real (to which, personally, I have my serious doubts) is a very rare diagnosis. But rare means unique and unique means speshul
I dunno if he really functions as a parody of otherkin tho, because he doesn't really seem to do the things that otherkin are negatively associated with, even if he is one.
Horuss is a mild parody, Cronus is a more biting satire.
Their interactions with Kankri underline the difference between them. Horuss, who is a silly character in general, is wildly enthusiastic about everything Kankri says on the subject of his being a horse. Cronus knows he isn't really a human greaser, but keeps up the pretence because doing so gets him Kankri's support; if he were to admit he wasn't really an otherkin after all Kankri would condemn him for appropriating the identities of others.
^^Not really. I think she just got caught up in Tumblr's identity circlejerk where if someone questions your identity that person is immediately wrong.
anyway, like I've said before (on tumblr itself even), thinking you are a special snowflake is not the problem. Thinking that you're better than everyone else because you're special, that is the problem.
