So I found this recipe for red velvet cake a month or so ago and have made it twice since. I'm sure Justice and a few others will confirm it's om nominess. My only stipulation is that the frosting needed more confectioners powder and a little extra cream.

So what have other people been cooking? Please share your recipes/ requests for great recipes here!

It just dawned on me that Sandwiches could certainly be complex if you do something like heat up the meat or make like a tuna/chicken salad sandwich or some such.

I tend to make my roast beef sandwiches by getting some roast beef, onions, maybe some hot chilies and/or bell peppers and sautéing them in some butter.

Once those things are nice and cooked, I ether set it aside or move them so they won't get much heat. I throw on my bread, letting a side soak up all the buttery, meat/onion juice goodness. When that side is toasted, I flip it over, hopefully the side that is now on the pan isn't getting as much of the juices so it's not as unpleasant to hold.

I add some cheese, let that melt a bit, then add my hot ingredients, which melts the cheese further.

Take the slices off, add more veggies and condiments as desired, and eat said delicious sandwich.

Bacon, cheese and maple syrup burger today.

I've never had maple syrup with meat before. It gives it a sweet, but also somewhat woodish taste, like if mahogany were a flavor, that doesn't detract from the taste of the meat.

Today was a good day for Chinese!

We had left over white rice, which I fried with some soy sauce, ginger, garlic, rock brown sugar, and spices.

Added eggs, steamed veggies, and some shrimp.

Also made Shangri-La Beef with several more ounces of beef and a whole red bell pepper. Because seriously, who only uses HALF a bell pepper?
