After being away from the Internet for most of Thursday (and thus without access to Twitter), I think I've come to the conclusion that I'm investing far too much of my emotional state into it. The near-constant barrage of bad news since last fall hasn't been helping.
I mean, there are a few people I follow because I like them or their work, but I also follow several people that are more pundits than anything else, and I've also found myself wish I had more of a connection to certain people than would likely be advisable (or even feasible, given my poor finances, unless they happened to live in the DC metro area).
This is a lot for my experience on one website to bear. It's not like this is the first time, either (I was equally dependent on LJ back in the day for similar reasons).
Odra, if you do that, I'll put you in jail for Crimes against Odradek, including Unauthorized Decoration/Vandalism of Odra's Lawn, Removal of Odra's Intestines, and Destroying Satellites With Laser Vision.
I've found that out time and again, but I clearly learn nothing from it (and end up getting upset again when someone I like doesn't like me for whatever reason, frequently in a venue where I was never really all that welcome anyway).
I don't honestly remember and seriously who cares.
It is important because most Star Fox characters are accepted as, at the very least, attractive to the standard furry. But the outrage isn't apparently centered on him being a furry, so it has to be someone unusual, and that makes it interesting.

You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
So my protagonist is dating a vampire, and keeps offering up his blood for his boyfriend to drink. He is in incredible pain during the whole time he's been drank from, and hates every minute of it, but says that the feeling of knowing that his vampire boyfriend is being fed and kept alive is enough for him to endure the pain.
What do people think about this? Selfless love or something else?
Or maybe start looking for a shady doctor who's willing to smuggle blood out of the hospital. Point is the current situation can't be healthy for him or the relationship.
I'm highly certain Inane wasn't taking issue with the story in and of itself so much as trying to give you advice, and I really doubt/did not read it as him trying to shoo you off.

I don't even know what this is in response to anymore but it's a saved draft lol
They have a trans character in The Adventure Zone now apparently, so I'm preparing for armageddon.

I'm sorry I asked.
I'll delete my story.
And a "warped" perspective is, IMO, one that is of interest to share
