well Christmas Eve is the night before Christmas. I work that morning.
Our Christmas is already pretty much ruined in every other respect (we had some stuff on lay-away at Kmart and Gamestop that we now cannot pay for because mom's car blew out an expensive part earlier today, so we're pretty much just not doing Christmas this year I guess? I have to talk to her about it) so I'm just more miffed than I might be otherwise.
You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
But canceling Christmas would put me out of a job!

There's freezing rain and it made the roads all icy and slick and I had to drive in it

I feel like I got a similar prompt on my desktop when I opened Chrome on it for the first time after installing the Anniversary Update, though I can't remember if it was about battery life or not
basically, because Edge is part of the OS it operates on a level where it doesn't require as much RAM because more of its components are things Windows has queued up already
but it's still a Microsoft browser so there's very little incentive to using it over its alternatives
The difference is that millenials have the unique and vivid sense of perspective that the graphics gen xers love to deride as "cell phone commercials" give while gen xers have to content themselves with pretending Castlevania 1 looks good
It's arguable that the reason that millenials are such a kind, intelligent, and funny generation is that we were raised on the aesthetic that dim bulb SNES kids deride as "cell phone mascot"

But we get to leave early, at least!
...
Ok, go ahead and cancel it.
I hate it when this happens
would've been ridiculous if it were
