I can agree with the "calling Donald Trump 'Drumpf' is kinda dumb" point though. It was kinda a cap joke in the original Last Week Tonight bit and people just sort of ran with it and started parroting it instead of actually offering statements about why Trump is like, bad.

I guess I didn't personally mind because an actual, non-passive-aggressive conversation arose from it, even if it's one I have little to no interest in. But I can get that. Part of that's due to how Odra and I guess practically everyone comes here to let off steam, so you can get repetitive stuff like that... still, I as usual, find leaving kind of drastic even if very understandable? I got pagebottomed so I will say where it goes from idle discussion, which I am all for, to purely venting and/or being in conflicts that don't have any meaningful resolutions, can get kind of blurry and I am decidedly not for the latter on principle. So I do too, Tre. If the same stuff was put into personal or wonderposting threads or the non-musing thread - and it's not like you're ever under any obligation to respond or have people respond to you, that is absurd - then I think I'd almost-entirely be without issue on that front.
