Netflix sci-fi show. Directed by the Wachowskis; the show-runner also did something interesting which escapes me. Actually a really exceptional show, which surprised me, but very pleasantly.

You may not realize it at first, but Ingrid Third is a pretty Central Avenue character.
I mean, she's got Tara Strong's voice, and a photographic memory, and a history of getting in trouble at middle school, and...well, that's about it, I guess, but that's enough, right?

See I was neither badass nor goth when I was a tween. Interesting is up for debate, I suppose.
Also I'm reading my posts in one of Tara Strong's voices now but it's closer to Twilight Sparkle.
It was a cartoon that I watched occasionally when I was a wee thing that was essentially a cop/mystery show... in middle school, with the safety patrol.

i'm not gonna lie that sounds like straight up terrible.
I'm sure it's not as bad as I'm picturing but that's just an awful premise.

It requires some suspension of disbelief, since the kids effectively act like sworn law enforcement officers when they're just middle schoolers assigned to a "safety patrol".
But if you can accept the absurdity of that premise, it's quite entertaining.
It was actually pretty funny, because it was basically one non-stop send-up of NYPD Blue and noir movies and entirely aware of how utterly ridiculous it was.
To be fair, I had Kill La Kill on Quality Parole until I watched it and now it is my second or third favourite show about hot-blooded teens punching things.
So my computer completely locked up for a solid ten minutes and only started working again after I restarted it by holding down the power button. It's working now, but I'm not really relieved.
Really, really worried. I have way too much valuable, un-backed-up stuff on here for this thing to die on me now.

I would say the prudent course of action would be to make backups now then. Better late than never.
I don't have a paid Dropbox account and the free version does not offer nearly the amount of space I'd need to back up all the important things on this computer.
My sample packs alone take up a massive amount of space.

they just ran with the absurdity. i'm pretty sure there was an episode where the criminal had diplomatic immunity.
