DIB is apparently a windows thing (device independent bitmap) and there are a couple people on the internet complaining about "DIB cannot be made" from FL Studio and other programs. it seems to be windows telling you that it's out of resources.
I still have 51 GB on my computer (which is not a lot, mind you, but it should be enough to keep programs open).
If it's an issue about graphical resources, I can see the problem.
See I was opening GrossBeat (a sub-program in FL Studio, looks like this) and I accidentally clicked on the icon about five times, and I think FL might've tried to open it that many times. It wouldn't be the first time something dumb like that has happened.
Man this thing's only going on two years old, you'd think it'd be holding together better.....

51 GB, presumably, is your hard disk space. How are you doing on RAM? (You can check in Task Manager)
59% right now, though it's going up and down a bit.
I've noticed that sometimes that number will swell to like 99%, and then fall back down. But it does admittedly happen most often when I have a lot of stuff open.
This is the part where I get depressed about how hopelessly naive I am about computer issues.
I should really get actual malware protection for one thing.
Thing seems to be fine now (Skype is doing that thing where it doesn't recognize that you've read conversations, but that's because Skype is Skype), so I dunno.

Even running out of RAM shouldn't be too big an issue, because your computer is supposed to be able to use the hard disk as extra memory (called a swap file or a page file) if you max out the actual RAM
It'll be painfully slow, but it will technically function that way
As far as malware protection goes, I could sit here and list of recommendations, but Windows 8 comes with Windows Defender built in, so enabling Defender and using uBlock or another adblocker in your browsers should be plenty
RAM is sometimes called "memory" yeah. RAM is the "working memory" of the computer, the stuff relating to running applications. physically speaking it's your RAM sticks. you probably have on the order of magnitude of 4 GB of that stuff.
the 51 GB you have is permanent long term storage, your hard drive.
RAM is like scratch paper for the computer. hard drive is more like a notebook stored in a vault, takes longer to write and read it.

That is a really good analogy actually.
Prior to just now I didn't even know there was a difference.
The Sims 3 is on sale on Steam... at 33%. And most of the expansion/DLC stuff isn't on sale at all. Come on EA, it's a six year old game with a sequel. :|
(Fun fact, the DLC alone, including discounts, is £293.50)

As a wannabe engineer I found this kinda fascinating
Especially since a lot of this is stuff you just kinda pick up intuitively after playing with the bricks for a while but it's weird to see it actually spelled out

The weirdest thing about Eight Crazy Nights is that despite it being advertised as a Hannukah movie, the protagonist doesn't really celebrate the holiday due to being a loser with no family, and the secondary protagonist he stays with during the movie celebrates Christmas.
There's some tunes to old Jewish songs, and a Menorah is lit, but that's about it.
Speaking of Pennsylvania, I will be headed there for Christmas if everything works out. This time, though, I can drive. Any Pennsylvania people mind if I drop by?

or obese
it's great
I cannot recommend not being obese highly enough
but I appreciate the ability
I guess they do have Prince of Egypt for Passover.
