You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022

Once one realizes that one does not have the stomach or the taste for all foods on the menu, the reasonable reaction is not to accuse all the rest of the food of being poisoned and demand its removal, but what do I know.

It's funny how your work can subtly influence your use of language
For instance, at my job we use "empty" as a noun, referring to an empty semi-trailer

I didn't even notice until someone said to me "I found the trailer but it's an empty!"
Like most people would say "it's empty", with "empty" as an adjective, but here we're so used to "empty" as a noun that we just say that without even realizing it

I think installing an SSD would significantly enhance my laptop's performance, but the HDD I have in there now is 750 GB and to get an SSD of comparable capacity would run hundreds of dollars and I don't know if it's worth it
I enjoyed playing on the swings as a kid. I have fond memories of that. But if someone came out with a crappy new kind of swingset, my memories would not be damaged.
I probably wouldn't enjoy it as much today. That's okay.

This just has me thinking about how everyone's gonna throw a fit at the new PPG for having different voice actors

have you considered that maybe our "fits" are justified because the people at Cartoon Network did not even offer Strong/Cavadini/Daily the right of first refusal like they should have?
Tara Strong doesn't seem to have difficulty finding work . . .
Characters that endure are supposed to be voiced by the same people until they are no longer able to do the voice or die.
Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck et al. were Mel Blanc until he died. Yogi Bear, Elroy Jetson et al. were Daws Butler until he died. Scooby-Doo, Boo Boo, Muttley, Astro et al. were Don Messick until he died. June Foray is still Rocky.
